Stentorian RAM BF Squonker - Thoughts?

I think they look pretty decent but my squonk experience is limited.

I posted this a while ago.
They look OK if you have your heart set on a wood squonk but for 50quid You could probably get a better bang for your buck if its not the wood you seek..
Tho the resin 1s do look kinda cool.

In the closeup pics at Fastech it looks a bit ropey for the price. Unless the gold contacts make a bigger difference than I think they will, I doubt it will perform much better than a Boxer at a quarter of the price, if it were $30 rather than $50 I might consider it, though!

IMO fancy metal contacts are pointless at mechanical vaping voltage/ampage, you could make contacts out of a bean can and it would hit as hard as silver or gold.
The only plus for gold/silver over the lesser metals of copper/brass is they take a lot longer to tarnish so will require less frequent cleaning.
