Aussie thoughts on replacement TV: Bigger is better. No, much bigger than that! Iffn ya can get it in thro a regular doorway and/or it takes less than 4 big boofy blokes to stand it up, it really isn't big enough! Good luck sorting it. djs thoughts on replacement telly. Check existing telly (dying one), measure from corner to corner of screen with 'scientific' lengths elbow to wrist in the approximate manner of a total amateur. Go to telly shop with arm (obviously, maybe even 2) and meander about the 'show area' nudging arms up to screens and looking like a very strange person. Buy telly, get home, realising the 'arm measuring thing' wasn't such a good idea. End up with bigger telly. (Never fails) Moral of the story. Never measure anything properly if you secretly want a bigger one. (ooh.... Matron!)

Why not just buy another car charger ? do you have a need to charge when not in the car ?
Edited to add - I only ask as the biggest failing with a power bank is the need to keep it charged ready for use, while the car charger is always ready ... as long as your in the car anyway
Hi Charlie, did have a look, for a new car charger, live in Cumbria, not a lot of shops around and none had any, because it is an old iphone 3, (but works fine for my needs, reluctant to buy a new phone) could only see chargers on ebay, feedback on them was they were crap. Not sure if I can plug the usb from my main charger, into a car charger with a usb connection, so to speak ?. You should be able to use the cable from your original charger no problem though in saying that I've never owned an iPhone so can't be 100% sure lol.

Telly sorted and installed gents . . . . . true to form, purchased in seconds as I just bought the first one that looked about right. Conveyed to the Pea Pod by a charming young salesman who realised I had no hope of carrying the thing down two escalators and across a car park . . . . . we had rather a nice natter about about TV's, cars, car insurance for young people and birthdays as he'd just had his 18th. ( Tempted to adopt him as he was such a helpful and pleasant lad. ) So that's it job done *phew* and apologies to lynxkat for digressing his thread.
