Are you sure it's fully charged? If so then i would just say contact Liberty Flights and tell them you want a replacement, they are a long established company so i don't suspect they'll try giving you the run around but if they do file claim on Paypal or a charge back request with your card company whichever you used.
I suspect the problem is an over discharged battery, once the voltage gets below a certain level on these type of batteries they can't be recharged other than with a specific type of charging circuit. The battery can drain slowly even if the mod isn't switched on so if the mod left the factory with not much charge in the battery and has sat in a warehouse for a prolonged period it can become over discharged and is then essentially dead unless the mod has the right kind of charging unit which can bring it back to life.

Ok so I tried the charge for 15 mins and leave for 15 mins reset (which I found on a thread somewhere ) twice using a wall charger but no joy, plugged it into my laptop to repeat those steps and after 15 mins the screen came on to tell me it's charging so disconnected it and nothing again so replugged it back in and again told me it's charging so fingers crossed after a good long charge all will be well....will update later

Nope still no joy it doesn't appear to be holding any charge and as if things counldnt get any worse, primed the wick and filled the tank thinking we might be getting somewhere and it's pissed out all over the kitchen worked top.... disheartened by the whole experience doesn't even cover it ... so disappointed 😔 perhaps this isn't for me

ok it sounds like its working let it charge for an hour or so if you cant wait till it says full ,norm takes about 4 hours from empty the trick is to press the button 5 times really quick and buy that i meen at supersonic speed lol the leek may be down to the coil not being fitted correctly or it might be a duff coil or evan the tank may need screwing together but i don't know the tank dont overtighten the tank to the mod as the 510 is press fitted ,just nip the tank up hope that helps

Ok so checked the coil and tightened it and refilled seems fine. Fully charged the battery on the mod but weirdly it'll turn on with full battery for about a second and then states the battery low and turn off, really weird stuff don't know what the problem is but can't seem to find a thread about that particular issue

they do take a really long time to charge normally about 4 hours so it might be worth plugging it in and letting it charge for that and see if it makes a diff after that i cant think of anything else to try

Ok this is what's happening now (trying to share link I hope it works ) as you can see as soon as the screen come on it states full battery in top right corner then switches to low battery. This has been charging all afternoon. Has anyone had experience of this happening to them with a brand new mod or old one ? (please excuse the quality of the vid trying to get it up quickly )

Contact Liberty Flights explain what is happening and show them the video and ask for a replacement, i'm almost 100% positive it's a problem with a bad internal battery.

Thinking I might just reorder one and ask for a refund for the broken one as I can see this taking a long long time to resolve with postage times etc

Contact them first they were very helpful when I did as I thought the one I got was dead out the box and they also sent a link for the return address if I needed to return it. rezello

Received new COV Minivolt (YEY!), seemed to work fine on the first few puffs then burning and not much flavour from the e juice coming through, tried it on different power settings (seems to be worse on the soft setting) and different watts (30-40) but only marginal difference, this is using the tank and coil (0.8ohm) that came with the kit. Could the coil have burned out already? Read around some various threads just wondered if anyone else has had the same experience with this particular kit? tempted to take the coil apart and have a good look but since im still pretty new to all this and no experience with rebuilding whatsoever I wasn't too sure whether it would benefit me or not
