Evening all,

I recently (yesterday...) received my Maze V3 RDA and have been playing around with it....

Using it on the Pico Squonker (yes, I did remember to put the squonk pin in this time...!), it fires a couple of times and then the battery light keeps flashing and the Pico refuses to fire. 

So far, I have

- checked the coil to see if it's touching the side of the metal to cause a short - it isn't
- changed battery - same thing keeps happening....

When it occasionally does fire, it's not as great as I expected it to be....my guess is this may be due to my notoriously dire wicking skills...

Any ideas/advice/other users input, much appreciated as always

I would check to make sure the poss pin(from bottom to top) isn't touching the deck or the coil isn't touching the airflow barrel.

have you tried it on a regulated mod because it do sound like its shorting
maybe try stripping it,wash and reassemble it making sure to get the centerpin ect in right
cant think of anything else it could be

stick the rda on a mod/ohmeter to check its ok.
If its OK and still dosent work you may not be making sufficient contact at the 510 pin.
Dunno if the picosqueeze 510 is a floater.

Are you using a coil that is less in ohms than the Pico is rated to fire?

Hi ghostrider1971. I have a Maze V3 and a Pico. Maze currently on my Steamcrave (where it works fine!), so I tried it on the Pico, same result as you.

Concluded it must be the 510 pin on the Maze not reaching. so I took it off and gave a couple of turns with a slot screwdriver and put it back on.

Worked a treat.

Not sure if the 510 on the maze holds the positive pole - so best to only turn it slightly and use trial and error until it connects.

I love the Maze - I have a Clapton 26/32 in it with 6 wraps @3mm - comes out at 0.59, works great on the steamcrave but might want a wrap or two less for an unregulated like the Pico.
