£4.50 clearo against £40 + pounds of RTA..No contest. £4.50 wins every time.. Perfect!! Should be very easy to convert that into a rebuildable.. 1. Piece of nickel wire threaded into the bottom silicone washer slit and bent and trapped with the bottom contact plate. 2. Other end of above wire trapped between silicone insulator and inner metal sleeve. 3. One end of coil also trapped between inner metal sleeve and inner insulator. 4. Other end of coil trapped between outer part of sleeve and center post.. Excellent!!

T'weren't that much Macca . . . the Tank from CW is under £20 posted . . . and the innards are less than a squid each. Plus they're faff free, for me anyway.

O I like my rebuilables as well Macca . . . although sometimes, plug n vape is all I want to be doing. Once you've bought the Tanks, it's not an expensive way of vaping.

I agree but the CE2's need modding as well to wick properly.. Once I sort this E1 clearo out which from the pictures looks very easy, I got me a 2.5 ml RTA for the forseeable future..

I've never ever modded my CE2's and I've never had wicking issues either Macca. Clockworks does a very nice job on all his designs . . . you'd be delighted I'm sure.

It's a faff but the CE2 is rebuildable, you carefully remove the old coil from the no resistance wire and then connect the new resistance wire for your coil to it, the tricky bit after you wind the coil is connecting it to the other end. A dab of solder is the easy solution Perfectly do-able though. It's just so much easier to fit a new CE2 though

I have to admit I'm with Perpy on this one - I stick to re-building re-buildables! They can be challenging enough for my limited technical skills!

Every atty is rebuildable if you got the skills..I've rebuilt a dead LR 901 that Dave sent me just to understand the mechanics including the SS mesh and bridge.
Drop in replacements are what we are talking about when we say rebuildables I guess..

Every atty is rebuildable if you got the skills. And that's the nub of it Macca. I haven't. Although like Dave I can cope with recoiling a rebuildable, something which never ceases to amaze me, as I'm not technically minded, nor indeed is it of any interest to me. It's only thanks to some excellent tutorials from the likes of Scott, that I've been able to do what little I have. It's a huge step for me though.
