Yes I'm talking about your first e-cig here...

Many of you are experienced (see I avoided using the "old" word) in the art of e-cigs now and can expound upon the various types and accessories with great authority but you were not always thus....

So let's take you back to the dawn of the e-cig time...

You've never seen one...let alone tried to smoke one before...how was it for you?...a coughing fit or a breeze...did you take to it like a duck to water or was the learning process a long and slow one...

Share your experiences with those of us who are just taking our first faltering steps upon the e-cig route to fulfillment & enlightenment

Still a noob, but my first was a cig-a-like from Liberro. First drag was not pleasant, second was ok and third kept me at it. I lasted on that for around 4 days and then got my Riva, which was WOW in comparison! Still happy with my Riva and clearomisers

Well I was writing a nice long post and the dog just pawed the keyboard and now it's gone, so yeah i coughed a bit when i first started, as the vape is or seems dryer than smoke and it takes a bit of getting used to, now nearly 5 weeks later waiting for my shiney to be delivered it's all good, i'm now dripping Absinthe on a 2 ohm carto with the wadding pulled out, does life get any better Ps, Amber, the dog, abasloutely loves the smells.

I do indeed remeber my first time, it was hubbys and i took one puff and said thats gross you wont get me on them

E-cigs were pretty crude when I started and to make it worse, not knowing any better I started with an outdated model. At first I coughed a lot, because the vape was inconsistent and more often than not, juice was mixed in with the vapor. I saw the potential of it helping me to cut down on my smoking, as I never had any intention of quitting smoking, just cutting down.

Soon after that, I got a better kit and then even better than that one. For me, there was a learning curve that lasted even after I finally stopped smoking. The date on my signature banner is the day that I stopped smoking, I started vaping two months before that date.

Right now, I'm using an E-Power mod that I got from a friend and I'm using low resistance dual coil atomizers. It's a big step upward from my first kit. I couldn't be happier and I will never go back to smoking.

Took me a few weeks, but as he was enjoying them so much i thought i might as well give them a chance.

I think the secret for me was finding the perfect juice once that was found i was sorted

Once id tried TW original RY4 i was hooked Nicky i do like other flavours but nothing will come close to that one.

As some of you know. I play poker with a great bunch of guys and gals.

But you know what us smokers go through to quench our need for nicotine. Then 5 minutes later, fullfilled, we

Well I was amazed.... Truly.... Did`nt want to go out in the pouring rain the rest of the night.

Of course i went and bought a similar item in VIP ciggies, and of course i was disappointed when i realised that

this would`nt satisfy me like smoking a proper fag. Luckily i found this place, got steered towards Blakies best

mate , bought a riva kit, some juices, asked a million questions and never went back to the smellies.....

It's coming up to 4 years since I bought my first e-cig, but still remember the first day it arrived I opened the box, read the chinglish instructions (& instantly put them to one side), put one battery on charge & fixed an atomiser & cartridge to the other. Took my first drag, coughed a few times, but was amazed (even though it was a super-mini). Since that first day, I've just wanted to tell as many people about e-cigs as possible

My first try of an e cig was over the fence of my back garden with my smoker friend neighbour ! She had found out she was pregnant and been a heavy smoker she got her w cig out she had used in her first pregnancy. I had heard of them so decided to try and was very surprised how good it was , then my hubby saw a advert for elites in paper and thinking it would save me money let me order one . When it came I loved it but when the battery died I had a cig then kept it charged when I wasn't using it got a back up v-lite from the range that weekend and then decided to take the plunge and got a riva kit and dse901 for out and about with loads of juice. I then joined this forum and have a continuing growing supply of mods and juice and I couldn't be happier

My first was a Titan mini...........opened the box and saw this little gold thing (it looked like a pen to tell you the truth) in a box. this isn't going to work I say under my breath.

Check the instructions............ still muttering Fill the cartridge with juice and took a draw on it............. nearly coughed my lungs up......... tried again and thought "hey this is not bad". used it that night, then put it on charge for the morning.

Found that I really needed something a bit bigger so got a Riva and the rest is history
