I have to apologise as I made a couple of mistakes with the op. I posted a couple of old recipes without the changes I have made. Namely the lemonade which has less sweetener and the strawberry shortcake with less biscuit and different strawberry.
Hope this hasn't caused people inconvenience 😕

It really does get better with time.
I have some that's 6 months old and it's delicious, but I still stand by an 8 week steep for optimum taste 😊👍

jtc I have made the recipe for caramel cream cake, I have made two batches one using Caps vanilla custard and one using the new flavourart custard premium (contains Diacetyl and/or related diketones). Will review after 8 weeks if I can wait that long smells really nice straight after mixing. Now the wait begins.

I think flavorart have really nailed it with this new custard and there juicy strawberry, mixed 4% custard 2% strawberry outstanding.
