i cleaned it out again to try a new flavour an this time used leftover kettle water from the brew i jus made and its warped the damn thing. top metal rings come off, bottom ones come off as well, inner cart is all skewed an the plastic the bottom ring goes on is all bent outta shape.............ahhhhhhhhhhhh W T F Really ??? I stood 4 of them up in a pan of boiling water and left them simmering for 15mins, they were all fine. No distortion at all Initially I put them in there to make dismantling them easier and got side tracked so I just turned off the gas and let them cool down in the pan

Yeah I've poured almost boiling water over mine and left them for a while with no effects?
Where did you buy them from?

Mine are all V1's from HC and e-cig wizard. No problems with (almost) boiling water so far. Very strange, I can't (almost) believe that the plastic has changed that much from V1 to V2, The vision ego is as easy as they come to clean and reuse. Try another, would be my advice.

I have had a couple warp when I poured freshly boiled water from the kettle directly onto them.

Wow Thanks for the photos, I guess I'll be a bit more careful with mine from now on.

Hmm, either they've changed the plastic, or it's just the smoky ones. (it is possible they switched from polycarbonate to polypropylene or somesuch to get around the cracking issues).
None of mine have even thought about softening in hot kettle water.
