Anyone have a clue how these lids work? I have literally tried everything...... I naturally assumed that i screwed them on, maybe squeezed or twisted other way for lid to come away and expose nozzle. But no, the whole thing just unscrews leaving wide neck bottle exposed, I know they were cheap but I did expect them to do the job in hand! I bought gaffer tape to pop around neck as I just presumed they were a bit leaky...... but no, its a krypton factor puzzle

both lid and spout seem to have screw grooves, i just thought anticlockwise but no neither are there two flat bits either side that medicine bottles have to squeeze and twist whilst pressing down

what is has got is weird fins and cutouts between the two parts so I'm trying to see if press down into teh grooves takes both parts and lift up only takes lid (which seems logical but it aint happening!)

AHA! you are correct thebishman lift outer lid off the grooves and pry apart with brute strength (or in my case; tweezers) no grooves in lid. Bloody dramatic but usable. I was mixing for a pal but I dare not give him these bottles so I'll have to keep them for my own juices and give him my normal other ones

I think that you aren't meant to separate! I assume that the needle point doesn't have a hole?

I just thought you snipped a hole in to suit <<< how awkward! Oh well, as they are 120ml bottles I can mix in them and let them steep, then decant into smaller nibbed bottles to use I still feel less embarrassed than the forum member who didnt get the blue sticky backed plastic....
