Great tanks for the money. Got two of the SXK clones. Easy to coil and rewick. Bottom fill is a bit of a drag and the tank plastic not the best. Avoid the PMMA replacements but buy a couple of spare PC tanks with your order. Great flavour from a MTL tank and a lot less pernicketty than a KF3 mini. Others have tried the YFTK and iirc found it a bit airier. Can't say for the no-name clones. For the price there is little to lose as a FT stocking filler

The cheap clones are ok. The yftk is probably the best machined and is more airy. I just use these, and a dvarw, same flavour, for more capacity. Only had to replace one plastic tank after it split. Bottom fill - takes a minute.

I have both the SKX and YFTK Doggy 2k16 tanks and quite enjoy them. The YFTK one has an airier draw. They can be a pain to re-fill at times though. I much prefer using my Dvarw tank. much easier to get the tank off to fill and holds 5ml. You can also purchase the interchangeable airflow adapters to suit your needs. www.fasttech.com/p/9646337www.fasttech.com/p/9646334

its a nice enough tank, low profile and a reasonable capacity. easy to build/wick and flavour is ok. As previously mentioned Some of the clones are airier than others and it can be a pain to get the tank off the base as it tends to get locked on tight as you screw it to your mod. Nice to hear people speak well of the Dvarw, I have one on the way, hoping I will finally find something that is as good as the Ubertoot clone as a daily carry around. I have a Doggy styled tank and it’s not bad, but I was not wowed by it so have not used it much. By the way, if anyone starts selling the UTA Ubertoot clone again, get it, for my money the best MTL vape ever.

I got one of the cheaper Dvarw clones to use in a Smoant Knight. It's a blinder. Not even a weep in a month and an easy fill. Great MTL tank. Needed specs to coil it though. I suspect the smaller version to be much the same as a doggy, which will remain in use.

The doggy turned up today first impressions are ok, very stubby (like me ) for 3.5ml capacity. Flavour is good, but as its cotton-wicked I'm losing some throat hit...I normally use protank/aerotank and recoil heads with silicone wick. Any ideas on how to get that TH back??

Try increasing the juice PG and/or nicotine percent to compensate for the smooth vape cotton wicks provide, reduce your airflow and up the wattage.

I already use min 80% PG, but I have been toying with the idea of upping nic anyway recently, got a bottle steeping at the moment. Upping wattage isn't great as I prefer a cooler vape. I just wish there was silicone-ish alternative for wicking in rebuildable tanks

You could try putting a silica wick in the DS, should work out ok. otherwise play around with the height of the coil from the air hole. iirc increasing the gap should up the throat hit.

I admit to being a bit of a novice with RTAs, so if this isn't a dumb question.... with the size of the juice cut-out at the bottom of the chimney piece, won't using silica wick increase the chance of flooding/leaking??

I have some silica (somewhere) Ill have a play with mine and report back the results for you ..
