That's interesting Anne. Do you use Ethyl Malto? I've heard of it being used, but when I tried to find it I couldn't

I think this may be the route I shall have to go down too, as my tooth seems to be a lot sweeter than most other peoples

Like it says on the site..

Pure ethyl maltol crystals. These can be dissolved in alcohol or Propylene Glycol @ 10%. (use a little heat) -- Great for sweetening liquids.

Alternatively you can just buy sweetener:

I notice that the PV one is already a liquid, which would probably be better for me, as I stand less chance of buggering things up when I add it
