Anyone tried any Stixx concentrates?

Morning each,

Has anyone tried any Stixx concentrates?

I've mixed up choc full of nuts and Nicaraguan Seco.

Have had a quick try of the CFON and flavour seems quite nice if weak (mixed at 10% - recommended 6-8) - will be leaving both for a longer steep.

Not yet! I've not had them ' bench resting ' for anywhere near long enough . . . . . no doubt given my tastes, I could well double any suggested percentages using as a standalone.

Perpetua - I'm really hoping they do perk up a good bit after a further steep - I'm really hoping this isn't going to be the umpteenth "best concentrates ever" which is another Emperor's new clothes.....

Maybe be, maybe not ghostrider1971, from what I've read the Stixx flavours get good feedback - which doesn't necessarily follow they'll suit our individual taste as we both well know  . . . . if after a steep you like the basic flavour and still find it weak, then there's nothing to be lost by upping the ratio.

As for the Stixx, I hope they do perk up as I did my usual highly scientific 10ml bottle in a 100ml mix - maybe I will learn one day....or buy smaller bottles

In my experience of NETs 10% is no where near enough flavouring.
Similarly, anything less than a months steep is not enough time.

The Dark Fire is ok, does the same as most other dark fires, a few drops per 10ml. Turners Tea is weird, really weird, can taste the tea and rose, not the cherry though, needs a steep. The Black Cavendish hasn't steeped yet, had a quick toot, not impressed at 8%, the 12% might do better. The Latakia Dark Fire smells promising, not mixed it yet.
