My LT arrived this morning (finally!!) so I put the adapter on and put a stardust on to have a play. Now the adapter is stuck in the stardust I can't get a decent enough grip on the end of the adapter to unscrew it! I didn't even tighten it too much, to prevent something like this happening, which clearly worked really well Any ideas how to get it out?

Actually wrap a rubber band round it, probably better than above

I use a small/fine pair of soft ended pliers Bee . . . but Des's elastic band solution is great if you don't have pliers.

I carefully use my teeth Seriously don't do this! I wrap some kitchen roll around it and use pliers to unscrew it.

Des you are like me, too strong for your own good. lol
Try warming it up or cooling it down to get it to budge if you are worried about marking or breaking it. I would also suggest using a bit of WD40 to loosen it and then really give it a good clean

Get a cheap pair of pliers (e.g. from Poundland), wrap some insulating tape around the jaws, wrap some double sided tape (both available in Poundland) over that, then grip and unscrew.

The problem is that the 510 end that goes in to th lavatube is actually a thin walled tube, I got mine stuck in my Stardust or my Imists, I can't remember which. When I gripped the 510 end with pliers it just crushed it, and that was the end of that! The Ego end is thicker metal but you need to take care you do not damage the thread. A tightly wound rubber band is the best bet then unscrew by hand and pliers should be your last resort, still with the rubber band on to protect the thread.

Rubber band no worky I'll have to see if I can find something else to grip the end, pliers will be my last resort if they're likely to screw the thread up (no pun intended)

I had to use them on mine if you stick some masking tape on them it shouldn't cause much damage
