Des has nailed the answer, Just wrap an elastic band around the thread thats protruding and use it to get the grip you need to unscrew the adapter. I use the rubber band method to unscrew most items that have got themselves wedged on, in extreme cases then do a few wraps of the rubber and use some nut crackers if you have them- they don't close as completely as pliers

I had a stuck adaptor the other day and remembered this thread! The rubber band alone didn't work but a rubber band then a very small pair of pliers applied to rubber band so as not to damage the adapter worked a treat

Nope not got it off but I'm using it on the LT at the moment anyway as my tastebuds aren't liking my other juices at the mo, only the blackcurrant that's in the vision is working for me Edit: and yeah, either a 510-ego or two 510-510's will work

Bluefish, don't the v2 LTs fit ego natively now? I must admit I'd still use my ego-510 adapter anyway because it's a great juice catcher and stops leaks from flooding the LT connector.
On the question of how to remove the adapter without messing up the threads, I suggest giving it to any bloke and explaining the problem. Alongside opening things like mayonnaise jars, this is perhaps our only remaining function in society and it would be positively cruel to deprive us of it.

Are you finding that the LT was worth the wait bee? Oh definitely! I'm really enjoying being able to mess around with different voltages, I'm finding I like to vape at between 4.5 - 5.0 during the day and I lower it down at night to between 3.8 - 4.5 Only downside is I'm finding myself wanting a provari now haha to go with the several riva/ego batts and 2 LT's (regular and mini) so much for vaping saving money lol
