I have a bottle of juice that I am sure has turned nasty. It is Gold and Silver 16mg from Moju and was the first bottle I got so is about a month old. Now I cant even stand to open the bottle because of the smell of it. To me (and others) it has a very strong smell of amonia, like a strong oven cleaner. I liked it when I first got it and there is about 20ml left from a 30ml bottle.
So my questions are
Does juice go off? If I leav the bottle open will the smell go away? What would cause this type of change in a juice to smell like this?
Hope someone can help

Yes, it can go off but you should be looking at more like two years - definitely not a month! I really don't like the sound of an ammonia-like smell, suggest you get in touch as ask Moju for advice. This definitely isn't something I've come across myself or think you would expect from a liquid you've only had for as long as that.

I have a bottle of LnB from paradise vapes that is over a year old, it's perfectly ok but it has been kept in the fridge. It was my main vape back when I liked tobacco flavours. I just tried dripping some into an attie and it tastes/vapes fine Edit- it's 10 months old :-[

Since the weather has turned warm, I've put my juices into a padded cool bag with one of those cooling pads you keep in the freezer to ease pain. I have 2 pads, so alternate them every day.
Agree with the others, contact the seller.

You're welcome Karma. I originally suggested freeze blocks, but the cooling pads are better as they don't freeze solid, they're a jelly like substance.

Nicotine is a carbon, nitrogen and hydrogen molecule. Ammonia is a compound of nitrogen and hydrogen. So the building blocks of ammonia are present in e-liquid. There is, however, no natural process by which ammonia could be extracted from nicotine and any artificial process would leave a fair amount of spare carbon. So iff there's a sooty deposit in the bottle, contact the chemistry department of your nearest university, because there could be a PhD in this.

I had forgotten about this, It is all sorted now. Spoke to Tim at Moju (great bloke) asked if I had tried shaking it up, cos if it has just been sitting still for a while the elements that make up the flavour, might of seperated, he also reasured me that there was no amonia in it. He also said that if I want to send it back they would look at it and send me a full refund. I shook it up and there was a slight change, so got back to him, and said would venting do any good. reply came back, it might. I vented the bottle and shook it up again, then vented for a while, and shook again, put the top back on and left it for a few hrs. had a whiff and it is back to normal.
So If you have a juice that you think has turned, just do the Sake 'n vent to put the freshness back lol

I think I would describe it as cheap ciggy taste lol you can always drop a couple of drops of flavouring into it? I got a few bottles of easy liquid hazelnut coffee when it was on a good offer, still like it but just not enough taste so I'm planning to add some more flavour
