Seen this in a few places.

One story I read said it was being used for the Covid vaccinations as an element in the vaccine or their preparation (can't remember which one).

Have also seen a few stores have put PG prices up and restricted amount that can be bought.

I've learnt something there Andy!

In all honesty I was sooooooooo keen to get my ' jabs ' that what ingredients they used in the vaccines never entered my head. Makes sense that there's a shortage as a consequence considering the volume that must be being rolled out world wide.

It's no bad thing that amounts are restricted per purchase as it gives more people a fairer chance of obtaining supplies if needed . . . a price increase, if Vendors are having to pay more, then it's reasonable to expect them to pass on the extra cost to customers.
