Lefty, many thanks for sharing just one of your 'days from hell' with us. It makes perfect sense that actually writing about it all like that would make you feel better about it. It's grand to vent when you need to (and you know it isn't going to upset or hurt anyone else) but even more so because you know it will make other people smile.

We have a treasured mate who writes several pages of Christmas newsletter in a very similar vein (and style) every year without fail, and truthfully it is one of the few things I look forward to in December. I have a whole collection of them as I've kept every single one he's ever sent and have been know to fish them out and have a read when I really, really need to remind myself that laughter is both free and essential!!

I do wish though that fewer of the great British public were such utter plebs as hordes of 'em seem to be...
