I read that too Chrissie, I think he found out on the other forum when people were discussing the reduced price

Although I find it very hard to have any sympathy for Trog as he can be such a obnoxious git that thinks he is THE & only "expert" on e-cigs, I do think that it was out of order how Trog found out about his MII SD's being dropped by TW

I agree, he can be obnoxious but he does sometimes talk a lot of sense it's just unfortunated that most of us mere mortals weren't born with an instant knowledge of e-cigs, lol

Seems like another lifetime ago doesn't it Chrissie, I can remember you and Scylla raving about the SDI in your Ebay group. Although back then it was the best device about compared to what else was available. Ouch . . . that's a bit rough if that's the case with the SDII & Trog. It wouldn't surprise me though as JC is bringing own branded TW Mods increasingly into his range . . . Hifi had one at the Mini Meet ( forget the name of it now ) but it was rather good, looked like an elongated SD. . . .

Karma, it was only a short while ago that Trog was criticising anyone using cartomisers - then suddenly, after launching the SD Keyring, he suddenly finds cartomisers to be the best thing since sliced bread - well as long as they are the prefilled ones he sells. Don't get me wrong the Keyring & prefilled cartos are good - but it's his complete turnaround of his opinion of cartomisers that gets me - he he I agree Perpy, it was the best thing back then & I still think the SD is a good device - just so pleased there are now so many more big battery mods available these days

I was actually given an SD MKI by a guy whos saw me with my ego and carts when I was a struggling newbie all those months ago , bumped into each other in the smoking garden at a massive office complex owned by a major bank. He told me I've just bought another MKI you can have my old one , which he did with spare batteries and a spare switch that needed fitting. I don't think I'll be letting this baby go

Still got my original SD that I bought from Trog when he was selling them on eBay for £99.00 + P&P . Never used it since I bought my first GG.

And you couldn't get hold of them for love nor money Sandra, they really were that innovative at the time.

Looks like Trog has been bent over and thoroughly shafted by JC

Hi karma - I see you have had the universal fingernails experience with the lanyard! So far as an eGo adaptor is concerned - I find it does work if you attach it to the 901-510 adaptor but it is rather ungainly. What I do is firstly attach a 901-808D1 adaptor to the SD, then attach the 901-510 adaptor. I find this works well with skirted 'misers and looks quite neat. Here is a pic of the SD-Imist Great advice! LF sent me the wrong adapter but kudos to them, a phone call and the 901-808D1 turned up today! It's tiny and you can't really see it under the 901-501 adapter but, it works very well I now have a bomb proof SD that I can stick anything I have on and it vapes like a train, well pleased

Oops. Have I done wrong or Iam I being thick got my orders through earlier in the week but have just got back home after being away all week. I have got my 901/808D-1 adapter but it is too wide to fit in the recess of the MK2 is there some significance in the -1. I have allready got a901-501 tank conversion adapter, which dose not marry up to an echomiser which I hoped it would (not long enough) Maybe I have got male and female mixed up? which is not ideal. Totally confused ???

I'd have thought you needed a 510 to 510 adapter Ali, to give you the extra length on your 901 to 510 one . . .
