I think I've killed my taste buds! Vaping away on Sunday feeling very smug about the whole thing...even managed to convince my 30 a day sister-in-law to give the whole e-cigs a try, but I noticed as the afternoon went on I was filling my carts more and more convinced they were empty. By Sunday night it I had no taste at all! Nothing wrong with the equipment...still getting a huge throat hit, just no taste! I've tried all my strong juices including my favourite peanut butter from James and Maple syrup waffles from Enjuice but I still can't taste a thing. Has anyone else ever experienced this? Could have overdone it on Sunday? Will it come back?

Please don't worry, it will come back. Sometimes for some reason, your taste buds change slightly and it's usually temporary. Specially if you are a new vaper, your system is clearing out a little. Don't give up, it will improve.

It happens to me quite regularly, even with strong flavoured juice.
When I experience this, I tend to avoid those flavours I can no longer taste, and vape on a flavour I ain't used for a while. That works generally.
Don't worry too much, as Lisa said, it's something that comes and goes.

Ditto from me Lindsay on what the other ladies have said.

Ditto! It's really irritating. Sometimes I'll fill a cart with my favourite flavour and for the first few draws it tastes delicious and then ... nada! Very odd.

Thanks, hopefully it will pass after a couple of days...it's really frustrating!

It is indeed very frustrating. Use this period of a lack of taste to use up juices that may not be your all-time favourites. Then when your taste comes back you can renew your acquaintance with your faves and all will be super in your vaping world. The other time vaping is very unsatisfying, taste-wise is when one has a cold, but I think analogs were pretty awful at this time too. I'm not at all a menthol vaper, but when you're all stuffy, it's fantastic for clearing the airways.

Actually, it's a little better this afternoon. Now it seems to be improving I think I was describing it wrong, I'm not sure it was the flavour that was missing but the slight burning sensation in the nasal passages...whatever it was it's tasting a heck of a lot nicer again!
