I wasn't sure whether to put this on here or the mega thread I have been using the rainbow ego thingies and have got on really well with them. Not so the atomised cartridges. But have seen clearomisers advertised. Are they similar to the rainbow thingies. They look fairly easy to use, no faff type of thing Would they work on my riva 1100? What are your thoughts on these please BC

Which clearo?
A clearomiser is a generic term for a tank which contains the coil within it..Like a cartomizer minus the wadding in a clear or frosty container with some kind of wick included..

Hi Macca I think it was this type but the longer ones that hold a bit more juice www.vapeescape.co.uk/ce2%2Dclearomisers%2D%28short%29%7E267They look like they would be as easy to fill and use as the rainbows I have been using but they are cheaper I know they wouldn't last forever but how long roughly do they last Thanks BC

Those are CE2's need a syringe to fill but they are good. They do last quite a while. It all depends on how much juice you put through them, what temperature you vape at etc., etc.,. They can be cleaned and dry burned extending their life.
You can also get tanks for them increasing the capacity if you so wish.

As you put juice through the wick the sugar in the juice caramalises and gunges up the wick at the coil area preventing the wicking process..
So you empty the juice activate the battery in bursts which starts burning off the deposits, without vaping, till you can see the coil glowing and. You'll see the wicks starting to turn white again.
People do it differently. I usually rinse the coil and clearo in hot tap water and shake dry, dry burn and rinse again before using.

Sometimes the filling holes inside them aren't fully open, so the first fill can be tricky. You have to pierce them properly with your syringe.
One you've got it filled they are pretty good for flavour.

Thanks Macca I will put them and a syringe on my shopping list You shouldnt have to add a syringe, it says they are supplied with one. Out of interest, how do they compare to a stardust, are they pretty similar in performance?
