I have the rebuildable ones now chirpie, the atties cost £2.50 and you keep the glass. So it's cheaper in the long run. I have washed my non rebuildables a couple of times , could someone tell me how long to dry burn it for. 5 secs ? 10secs, 20 secs ? That bit worries me that I'll overdo it and ruin it. I think I read somewhere, about 6 seconds, but I can't remember where, so it's possible I dreamt it......been dreaming a lot about vaping gear lately....I wonder why........

Back from footy tournament and vaped like mad but nobody asked if I was smoking Got a few odd looks from people though About this dry burning lark, am I right in thinking you just vape as per normal but without the juice in it? If so where is the bit that glows red? Sorry to sound dense but like Malibu I'm worried that I'll ruin it.

I just rinse them, shake the water out, fill them and leave them for a while. The first few puffs are a bit weak, but after that they're fine.

No, don't vape, just hold it and press the button, will look for a thread on it for you if I can find it.

A little video about dry burning these see if that helps a little it wont glow straight off due to the water and gunk on the wick/coil but do this in short 6-7 second bursts until the wick is dry then it will start to glow a little keep doing it in short bursts until you see the wick and coil clean

When dry burning you are not supposed to over do it, or you'll damage the coil presumably. I've read instructions for a 6 second burn, followed by a 20 sec wait, so that's what I've been doing.
If you do it after the wick is dry, it takes no time at all, if you do it after washing with the wick still wet, it can take ages.

Ok forget the burning then, I'll stay as I am, I rinse then leave to dry overnight anyway. Unless the wick looks dirty then maybe I'll try dry burning it then, thanks for the advice.

Thanks for the links Violetblade and Sandra. Will have a go at dry burning when I eventually clean the one I'm using at mo. I just rinse and leave overnight usually but the wick still looks bit iffy so will try dry burning it. That's the 1 that I didn't throw away!! Still in my vaping accessories tin. Am off for a mega vape, alcohol and TV
