Help - need a charger ASAP

Hi All,

Made the fatal mistake of ordering a new ego 650mah vv battery, but no charger !! Not a problem till my other battery decides to die, it was a passthrough so the charger wont connect to the new one.

The trouble is on sunday Iam on a course in leeds for 4 days so even if I order a new charger I wont get it till I get home.

Iam near Rochester in Kent, does anyone know of any nearby suppliers open tomorrow afternoon?

Iam hoping that health e vape (in margate) will let me pick one up tomorrow, but in case its not convienant any suggestins.

At the moment iam using 2 old skycigs batteries in turn to vape an ego vision, but the batteries are dying within 3/4 hr.

Will the sky cig battery charger charge up the Ego 650maH battery eventually? Ive removed it from the plastic case and can just about fit the battery, but wanted to check before connecting .

What's the rating of the sky cig charger?

its said on the bottom 200 mah if I recall correctly, I cant check cause I destroyed the case getting the charging unit out - opps

If it is a real emergency you can try charging it..From what I understand the sky cig is a 306 connection and comes with a 150 mA charger..

But I would advise you to remove it from the charger every half hour or so and check the battery voltage with a mulitmeter..It should not exceed 4.2 volts under any circumstances..Charge it to 4.0-4.1 volts and use it that way till you get a replacement charger..

I am sure other forum members will let you know if there are any suppliers in your area or if anyone who lives near you would be kind enough to lend you a spare charger for a few days...

Else Tesco disposables is the way to go..

What happened to your passthrough? If you want you can post it to me instead of binning it and I can make use of some of the parts.

the pass through is only a week old, so I ve returned it to the supplier, otherwise you could have had it !

Ah ok..I thought it was an old one that had given up the ghost..

CAM VIP has been doing a lot of work trying to get emergency supplies into pubs..Maybe there is one in or around your area who does ego type chargers..

How you getting to Leeds? If you will have a car any chance you could visit Jason's shop in Heywood? Or get a train?

Im travelling up to Leeds sunday on the train, so cant get to Jasons shop, Dont think I will be able to get into leeds till after 5.00pm.

As for backups the vv was gonna be - and will be, if only I had ordered a Charger - DOH,

You're not the first and I doubt that you'll be the last to be in this kind of predicament . . . if all else fails, then like Macca I'd suggest a couple of disposables to tide you over.
