I see..Good thinking..
I make some coils in my spare time and keep them. Whenever I get a drop off I just change the wick and coil. I have done a few in situ with juice still in them. Bit fiddly but doable but as you said needs good lighting.

Also the Stardusts are considerably harder to rewick, first it's getting them apart, the Ego's are made to come apart. Then with the longer legs to be made on the Stardusts and poking the coil wire it the right place etc, the Ego's you push through the wires replace the grommets and you're done. As the stardusts are not made to be taken apart they're more likely to crack or not reseal properly when re-assembled. So dry burniing them makes more sense to me.

Do you guys just let them soak in soapy warm water,
I've got a new CE4 that after about an hour of use is horrible burning from a vape
Thanks

I think I worked out what the problem is, I think, i took the black mouth piece from another brand of vision and I think it's slightly longer, pushing the rubber end down and then cuttung off the wick supply.
I think..
Got another one from the same vendor with the it's own mouth piece and it seems fine.. hopefully as I bought ten lol!

I use denture cleaning tablets when I have a few to do (Only 55p for 30 from Teasco's) leave them soaking for a couple of hours in the solution, then a good rinse afterwards, then I just shake them out and use them without waiting for them to dry.

This is really weird, if I remove the mouth piece, let fresh air into the tank, rescrew, lovely vape for about 5 pulls then burning again. Repeat and it happens again.

it sound like the wick is being strangled by the silicon cap being pushed down by the drip tip you could test by not screwing the drip tip in as far and see if this helps... you could also conect a battery to the vision and pull slightly to see if you can pull the internals down a tad to relieve the pressure

I am having much the same problem. One of mine seems as if it is letting air in It makes a very strange noise

I tried the denture tabs on a manky vision, brought it up like new!
Regarding the one that tastes burnt, i thought the same. I tried pulling it back a bit but now it's stopped working all together and I can't get the thing apart for the life of me!
