oneday, oh I see it`s a money thing for the goverment
are any of the other top smoking aids taxed, like the nicotine patches, lozenges or nicotine inhalers?
or is it because the goverment has seen how useless those are and how good e-cigs are?

Those other aids are made by the big pharmaceutical companies. So, lined up against e-cigs in the blue corner, we have in the red corner the government, big tobacco and big pharma. A fair fight?

Big Pharma are making a mint on all the useless nic replacement products that are paid for by the government. So, they're non too happy about e-cigs either and would like regulation so as they can have a hefty slice of any profits >

We can't buy enough juice to last a lifetime, even if we did have the money. But the older you are the better chance you have *Runs and hides*

As I've said all along, though the tobacco companies, as Joan says, will make a big noise, (they are already jumping on the band wagon with e-cigs), it's big pharm we have to worry about the most. They are so wealthy & powerful. So many every day products we buy, from cleaning products to pet food come from sister companies of big pharms. They have the money to fight & tread on anything they are unhappy about.

hmmm, they can`t control china though?
could we always be able to import the juice from china or would our govt. be able to slap import duty on it?
also, from what I have read on here are there knowledgeable people who could buy the right ingredients and make the juice themsleves?

I haven't stockpiled because I'm not going to allow myself to get stressed about whether or not e-cigs as we know them will disappear.
I also can't afford to stockpile unfortunatly, so will have to take a risk on China still importing juice and accessories.

What implications is any decision going to have on vendors that have successful business ventures in the Uk? It all seems very unfair
