Had a bad day yesterday as my job was put at risk and hardly vaped at all. So bad in fact I remembered to take all my nice new kit home for the weekend but left all the new juices at work . And yes, you guessed right, everything started running out. The nicer Skycig cartos went and I hate Vanilla and Cherry, so it was Riva and clearos only. But I had only filled these each once on Tuesday and they went dead low as well. And I was testing the Riva batteries for life from initial charge and one of those went too while I was out. However a good nights sleep did me good, met up with the guy I had loaned a skycig battery and boge carto with Dekang juice in, and I am now back on track on the 50/50 route. I even managed to get round to getting my signature done tonight.

Wow what a day! Sorry to hear your job is at risk Well done for sticking with the 50/50 though, days like that are sent to try us all from time to time. The AAEC mantra, as I'm sure you've already heard, is backups for your backups for your backups. And the sig proves that youve already avoided 60 fags, so hang in there.

Not a good day at all there nightus, when will you be able to go back in to collect your stash of juice?
Over all how are you finding the Riva, and your other kit for that matter?

Not a good day at all there nightus, when will you be able to go back in to collect your stash of juice? Over all how are you finding the Riva, and your other kit for that matter? My job is only at risk for the 30 day consultation period before redundancy, I am not on garden leave so will be back in tomorrow morning. Loving the Riva with Vision clearos, very easy to fill but I made the mistake of putting the full 1.6ml in both when really I should have been tasting small amounts of the samplers. They are still bedding in I think as I found the HS T5 too harsh the first day and preferred the Griz GY-4. Since then the T5 has mellowed (or I have) and I prefer it to the GY-4 now. I liked the Boge carto with Dekang tobacco in that I got back last night after the loan , the draw was more natural (yeah I've seen the thread on making the clearo draw better but not tried it yet) but it ran out before the end of the night, vapour went very quick so I guess it's blown. I'll find out tomorrow when I refill it.

IT shouldn't be blown unless you sucked it so dry that it burned the wadding. Good luck with the refill

Sorry guys, I forgot to thank you for your sympathies on the job front. I wasn't after them, just describing the day, but they are appreciated. @oneday, I think it is OK, just tried it on my other battery and got a bit of vape out. But the vape just vanished pretty quickly on me last night. I've never dried a skycig carto yet, didn't want to burn or blow them yet and this is the one and only Boge I've tried so far, and in fact I had no knowledge of it's history as I loaned it to pub friend for a couple of days, maybe he almost drained it, but I doubt it, it was on a skycig battery. I'll fing out tomorrow when I'm reunited with my juice.

Nightus, if you loaned your Boge to a friend for a couple of days & he vapes heavily, then there is a good chance it is staring to wimp out or he burnt it out. Cartomisers are meant to be disposable - even though bthey can be refilled several times. I'm a heavy vaper, so at between 50p & £1.00 each (depending where I have bought them from) I'm quite happy to bin them after 2-3 days if need be

Well at least I got reunited with my juices this morning (I hope you read that the right way!) so no way I'm running out now.
@oneday and chrissie - I refilled the Boge and tried it on both fully charged Rivas, working but not much there in any department. So it looks like the loan killed it, I was just disappointed that I only got one use out of it. Not a wasted cause as at least I introduced one more to the cause. Just gonna bin it.
Top filled a brand new one today, took longer than condom method but at least cleaner, left it a while and that is vaping fine.
However I do have one quick question. One of the two clearos last Friday started tasting of the liquid as it started becoming empty, I didn't vape it dry. I washed the drip tip out several times, no good. Today partly refilled it at work without washing it out and drying (cant faff at work) and the taste is still there even after another drip tip wash. I take it I am going to have to do a full wash and dry on that?

Have you got the drip tip fully screwed in (as opposed to just pushed in)?

It seems a few people don't reslise that the drip tip on a Vision/Rainbow needs screwing in. We must remember to point that out to newbies.

Hi nightus - another thing to check is that you sometimes get condensation in the drip tip which can get in your mouth, so it is a good idea to push a bit of tissue through them occasionally.
