My VV kit from River arrived today Have a question about it though for anyone thats got one and worked it out! I can press the button 5 times and it changes the colour of the Light ring by the button, Red - Red/blue - Blue. I guess this is chaning the voltage? I dont see much difference in the vape whichever settting it is on! Also is it possible to turn it off?

I don't think the 3 stage batteries can be turned off..
They give the same performance of a RIVA when set to the highest setting..Only xtra is the ability to drop the voltages slightly..Under load the bettery voltage is 0.3-0.25 less than set voltage.
So 4.2 will give 3.9 under load, 3.7 will give 3.4 under load and 3.3 gives around 3.1 v under load.

Ok thanks! Well I have noticed a difference now, low setting is a bit less harsh than high setting.
So what effect does the lower voltage actually have on the cartomiser? Does it just simply mean it wont get as hot?

Yes resulting in less throat hit, less vapour but longer battery life and device life in terms of time will also be higher because you will not be stressing the battery and recharging it less.

You can get covers for the switches to stop them going off in your pocket. I think Freedomvape have them
