Right I have some of these bad boys now. Very quick delivery from iVapour Elixir so happy with that. It took a bit of twiddling to get one into my Argento Maxi but got there in the end with a bit of patience. I measured the unloaded voltage before and after but there was no change, I did not really expect to see any, as it would be under load that the difference would be seen. To be honest I could not tell any difference in the performance of the Argento, but am guessing that is because it is new and there has not been a chance for dirt or corrosion to be built up. I have noticed one big difference though in that it keeps my battery in tighter than the old spring so it does not bounce about and rattle like it used to. I was thinking about putting some sort of sleeve in there to stop it, but don't need to now. Having done that I put another one into my Gripper mod as I have been having a few tiny niggles with it, though love it dearly in that it is not firing straight away when I press the button. This was a struggle to fit the hot spring in to. There were a few blue air moments when I thought I had managed to get most of it in then, TWANG and I had to go across the kitchen to find the spring, that was if it had not hit me in the face (it did that twice). The replacing of the spring has sorted out the firing delay I was getting on the gripper mod which makes me think that there is room for improvement on the design when it comes to electrical conductivity. Now knowing the fight I had trying to get it into the Gripper I looked at the LT to see if I could fit one in there. I really don't think I will be able to as the original spring is even smaller in diameter than the Gripper and that was a huge pain in the bum. If anyone has done this then I would love to know how you got it in there and does it make an actual difference? So in conclusion I wold say that if your ordering something from iVapour Elixir to put one or two of these on the order.
