MSE have removed my All-About signature

I went to respond to a post on the e-cig thread on Money Saving Expert and noticed my earlier post had a message in place of the signature "Hi, we've had to remove your signature... read the rules or email the forum team..."

So I've emailed them (could only find an "Abuse" email addy) and await a response.

So how come all kinds of links can be put in the posts?

"Unfortunately, due to abuse of advertising in signatures we were forced to create a rule banning them completely. We do not have the resources to check sites individually over periods of time to ensure they do not contain advertising.

Scylla, yes that thread brought others, to firstly our ebay group & then here.

Was interesting reading that MSE thread, mind you after page one I skipped to page 20 as the misguidged opinions on ecigs were beginning to give me the pip.

I was rather put off the MSE forum when I asked for advice over the 'trial period' advert debacle in which I found myself. One long-time member posted that I was a fool, had only myself to blame and had a snowball's chance in hell of getting my money back as, legally, I didn't have a leg to stand on etc., etc. WRONG! I did get all my hard-earned back in the form of a charge-back and was given all the advice I required from my credit card issuer. Being spoken down to by an arrogant, ill-mannered person with zero knowledge was not a good start.
