I am spreading the word up my neck of the woods too. Not only have I got my neighbour vaping, but she has also got her relatives doing it too. Got to work on my other neighbour now lol

Thats fantastic well I have been constantly advertising it on my facebook, I don't know if people on there understand exactly what a e cig is, but I know if I saw them in the flesh and they tried mine they will buy one.

Onedayillquit, Well he took it to work and took the charger with him.

hmmmm wondering why he didn't take the case with both the Rivas in there already charged? maybe he left the other Riva for me to vape on.

I won't know how he is getting on with it till tonight, but I must say, he did say last night while vaping on the Riva that "this is seriously better than smoking (I hope he means it) and he did say in his own words " hey this is so nice it's addictive"

hmmmm so how is he getting on I wonder ? I will update tonight

My son said to me last night " Mum if this gets dad cutting down or giving up smoking THEN this will definitely PROVE that vaping REALLY does work"!!!!

So, we are all waiting in anticipation to see if this guy who can not do anything without a rollie in his hand gets on with the Riva and vaping and cuts down (or gives up) smoking

I guess it's as the saying goes " we have to see it to believe it"

I love reading story's too. I think it's a good inspiration for others to read who are thinking of vaping, to see how and why smoker's turn to vaping. There is a story behind everyone. We need an INSPIRATION column for real life story's on the forum I think just an idea

A small update:

Well hubby came home after work with bags in his hand (he stopped at the shop) and I noticed he was holding his box of Golden Virginia.
First thought which came to mind was "he couldn't do it, I bet he didn't even bother vaping"

He walked into the kitchen and said NOTHING!
hmmmm I thought to myself, the Riva could not have been very exciting for him because he said nothing as he walked in. So, I asked him myself " so how did you get on with the Riva?" his first words were "ahhhhhhhh you won't believe it" I thought omg he doesn't like it, that's what his going to tell me, so I stood there waiting to see WHAT he was about to say, he said " The battery really lasts on that Riva, I've been vaping on it all day and it didn't need charging"

I thought PHEW! I then asked him how he got on with vaping he said "all day I've been vaping on it, I only had 5 roll up's and look at the liquid still half full in the tank"
He sat on the sofa with his "Riva" and continued vaping while watching the TV.

After dinner he went outside to have a roll up and when he came back indoors first thing he said was " that roll up doesn't taste nice after vaping" I replied "yes it doesn't it happened to me too" So I asked him if he really likes vaping?, " It's really good" he said "but it's giving me a sore throat"

I explained to him that he needs to drink plenty of water and that after a few days he will get use to vaping. I said to him " well that's good to hear, because it's better than smoking" he then quietly replied "yes, but even though vaping is nice I still get worried in vaping" I asked him "why? and he replied "well I don't know whats in it, with all the smell and whatever maybe there's perfume in it I don't know" I said to him "well forget about vaping, if you feel worried then don't vape continue smoking if you feel that is safer, but don't forget it ain't safer cos it's got on the packet's "SMOKING KILLS" so why worry yourself? ...he quickly replied and said "NO I'VE STARTED NOW"

Anyway, I've explained here exactly how it happened so as you can see how his doing. His in bed right now with his Riva topped up with e juice and a freshly charged battery.

He likes it so far, but there is still this "but" feeling I'm getting...he could end up loving it, or visa verser. As I've said before he is and has been a passive smoker. I'm use to him always smoking and I've never heard him say he wants to give up. So, I don't want to put my hopes up, now tell me what you think, will he continue ? what's your gutt feeling?
