As some will know i got a vgo a few day back and love it, im only vaping about 2-3 ml a day of 11mg.
The question i have is sometimes the vape is very smooth and others it has a throat hit to it. And tbh i like the smoother
So my question is... Is there a way i can make it cosistently smooth, different cartomizer? Or maybe a lower mg but vap more ( which i wouldnt mind )
At the moment im using a cart with the atty at the top, i have been told bottom atty is smoother, but is there one you guys would recommend.
Sorry if its a daft question but i would really like it smoother
Thanks all
Mat

Its not daft Mat, coz we all want the best vape, unfortunately, we all have a different view of which gives us the best vape, you could order a few different types of atty and try them, an Echomiser, a Vision/stardust, a boge and a kanger, they are not expensive and maybe you will find the best for you.

Not a daft question at all, figuring out the variables that contribute to getting the perfect vape for YOU can be quite a difficult journey.
You say that sometimes it is smooth and sometimes not. Do you mean with different juices or something else?
Flavour, PG/VG ratio and nic strength all play a part.
Temperature of the vapour also plays a big part - cooler = smoother. Voltage plays a part in that as does resistance. But there is also a big variation in different carto/clearo/tanks.
There is a lot of trial and error involved and unfortunatley, the advice and opinions of others will only point you in roughly the right direction, a certain amount of buying different things to find the combo that works for you is really part of the journey.

When it is smoother, why is it smoother? Is it because you are using a different juice? A different carto? A fresh carto? Is it smoother when the battery has been used for a while and has lost some of it's charge and is therefore putting out a lower voltage?

Is that with the Buds or the Vision?
The Vision eGo should give a warmer vape as the heating coil is at the top near the mouth piece. The Buds should be cooler as the heating element is at the base near the battery connector.
It could also be because you have only just stopped the ciggys.

I think you will find the boge carto smoother than the vision ego. It does depend on a lot of variables though. I find that Visions are fine on my mini Argento, but get too hot and harsh on my Ego Twist. I prefer a cooler, smoother vape also.

It is with the vision I remember you saying atty is at top, so did think it could be that. I like the vision for work time as it seems to keep me satisfied longer, but for at home i like the smoother, just wandered what i should try next.

Sounds great steve
I dont mind buying anything to try, i just wasnt sure if 1 was smoother or had more t/h than another etc
I understand now that they affect each person different, so trial and error
