I was just thinking about my Viva which I am really getting along with.
Like you I can't afford to have lots of them on the go so changing over flavours is difficult.
However if I had spare coil heads and fancied a change, I could just pour the remaining liquid back, give the tank a quick rinse and replace with new coil head & keep the removed one for the flavour I was previously using. Couldn't I ??? she says questioning her reasoning

Yep, that would work, and the coils are only about £2.50 each

Ecigwizard does pre punched XL dual coils in different resistances too..Might be a bit of a cool vape on a RIVA type device though.

But LF seem to be the only one to do pre-punched Single coils.

Yes Annie, as far as I know that's the whole point of them, in fact this is what I'm planning to do tomorrow when my new juice comes.
I'm thinking if I want to even keep using the same head even, I can just dry burn it to get rid of old flavour

Great Macca, thanks so much! So I want the 510 DCT ones? And what's the difference between dual coil and single coil?
Be aware that these don't necessarily need to be compatible with Riva, as long as they work on my twist, but my understanding is that I couldn't use 1.5ohms on my twist either?

You can use a 1.5 on your twist if you really want to..

For the same resistance dual coils will give you a lot more vapour but the vape will be cooler..Single coil will be hotter..So depends on your personal preference..For a twist I would try a 2 ohm single and 2 ohm dual coil and try them on 3.8-4.2 volts..

1.5 ohm is really for the 3.3 volt fixed voltage devices like the genuine egos

But then I thought I couldn't because the carto in it is 1.5ohms
But if I can replace it with higher resitance cartos, like the ones suggested on LF, that would be fine for my Riva and my twist?

You can use the 1.5 ohm carto that comes with the tank on the twist..If you feel the battery is getting hot, you can always drop the voltage to around 3.4.

You can buy the 2 ohm cartos from LF and sample them. Then you can buy more depending whether you like the SC or the DC and use them on both the RIVA and the Twist.

still trying to work out the best thing to do, the tanks from VE are £9 and then the cartos are £7 is it better to just buy another vivi nova? I'm thinking not, as I want the quality of a carto in a tank, think I at least want to try these tanks with the cartos inside.
