Tim btw, I watched the video in UKecig-store and I saw that theres a way of taking the plastic thingy off before dry burning (I think that's the plastic you mentioned) take a look, click on the link in his comment above

On the V3's you can, the V2's you can not take apart so you have rinse and dry burn with just the mouth piece off. The V3's are pretty much a doddle, take care not to trap the wicks (if you have the long wick version). I've also replaced one of my heads, my other one was fine just a little wick contaminated

Currently vaping out the next V2 I need to do, then I'll have 5 all ready to go

First time I've noticed them go tight on the draw, so this I thought would be a good time to clean

....just to add, when re-filling be careful not to flood over the wick too much, this will also result in a blob on your shiny gold battery terminal
