I find I get a peppery taste when I haven't had any fluids for a while , I never drank a lot of water / fruit juice / coffee / tea before I started vaping. I still have to force myself to have a greater liquid intake during the day .

Yes I find the same. So all these ones I can't use have been tried with drinks too . I'm trying to be very methodical about this. At first I was upset, I've spent loads and I really wanted to like them.
That's passed now and I aim to find out what it is and sort it and if I don't so what...................I still have something to vape.
I just finished my dinner, picked up I have been using all afternoon, with at least 6 cuppas and it was peppery ( but didn't burn), got a diet coke and it's fine.
If I had a pecker I'd keep it up

I think it also depends on what you drink as to the kind of flavour you experience , I have a cpl of juices that are too strong other than when I have a beer or 3.

Edit: Just to add I find that a good strong menthol is by far the best vape for me after a meal

This is health e vapes menthol and vapour juices peppermint , peppermint is the alldayer, this menthol has just arrived and I found that ok too, I have used a 20 ml bottle of vapour juice menthol too, so menthol is my staple diet for the time being

As long as I have my nicotine pleasantly i will be happy

I will swear that vaping Menthol has messed with my taste buds, I can't taste any of my juices now!

Good call , I used to buy enjuices premium menthol but it came in at quite a hefty price , it is a bloody good vape but I'm now fine tuning my own brew menthol which I might add is quite nice , maybe a route you may want to consider if menthol is going to be your all dayer
