................. one of these annoying ex-smokers

I've started to really hate when hubby lites up around me

I'll be happily vaping away and then I'll get a mouthful of his second hand smoke > It spoils the taste of my vape

Last night it was even making my eyes water

So, i've turned into one of these people I never thought I'd be, frantically waving my arms about, coughing and pulling disgusted faces

Ha...Ha.... I'm the same Karma.... We had a visitor to our caravan when on holiday, an elderly gent.. due to serious rain.. he was told just to light up in the van if he wanted to.... (((cough)))...(((cough))) ...splutter.. choke... I was so embarrased :-[ and so was he :-[... I really didn't think his smoke would have bothered me so much but boy was I wrong!

And worse... the smell of ciggs seemed to linger for ages.... we all smelled like that not so long ago !!!

lol yes, I hear you!

I have to almost physically stop myself from saying something each time Mr Boo has a fag, as it stinks really badly on him.

What is worse though is the chain smokers I serve at work (I work on the till at my local Co op). I had to stop myself from almost retching the other day as a guy handed over his lottery tickets for me to check, and they were brown/yellow and smelt really, really bad.

Its wierd, I can smell ciggies from 200 yards now, got a flippin inbuild radar for smokers...and it really stinks

Same here, I seem to have a super sensitive nose to cigs now, I can smell them everywhere, even just in the air walking down the street when nobody is smoking near me and I hate the smell, it's disgusting. How I ever got none smokers to sleep with me I'll never know ##

We had a major row the other week as I stipulated that in order to help me quit smoking he's have to smoke more outside and apart from the livingroom (which neither of us smoked in anyway) he wasn't allowed to smoke in the bedroom.

Well anyway, what did I catch the git doing?

Leaning over the side of the bed, ashtray on the floor, having a sneaky ciggy at stupid o clock!!! His reasoning? He thought I was asleep, so it wouldn't matter!

I went mental.

I don't blame you Boo > smoking has never been allowed upstairs in this house and got banned from the living room last year when it was decorated.

Hubby has to smoke in the kitchen/dinnette but unfortunately I spend a lot of time in there as it's also 'my office' !

It's funny isn't it, when we were smoking we didn't realise how much they stank, so even if you had been asleep, you still would have smelt it in the morning lol

Even if someone is just driving past smoking, with their car window wound down . . . I think what a pong.

Can't bear the smell of them now, seems so horribly hypocritical to say. :-[

During any of my past quit attempts the smell of someone smoking always started the cravings off and made me want one

It's the oposite now with vaping

Doesn't make me want one tho'...

Same here, my brother smokes and when he is here I don't mind him or anyone else smoking, I have no interest in it at all and the smell is fine BUT BUT BUT stale smoke stinks and I can smell it everywhere on everyone who smokes and think what I must of been like for my husband who gave up donkeys yrs ago.
