Like others I can also smell it a mile away, and when somebody is nearby that has been smoking I can smell the honk on them too and every time it makes me think "jees, I used to smell like that".

But I walked past an old boy sat on bench at a bus stop a while ago and he was puffing away on his pipe, gawd that smelt good.

I used to put hand wash sanitiser on m hands and spray perfume too. I don't actually mind fresh smoke but old stuff Yeuch I don like at all it smells horrid

Gotta admit I still love the smell of a freshly lit cig , but can't do with the 2nd hand stuff , can smell a smoker in a car driving past mine , my nose has become so sensitive ( still can't smell anything when I exit the bathroom tho )

That's a bloke thing Storm, nothing to do with being an ex-smoker.

I used to spend a fortune on plug ins, candles and fragrance for myself, along with mints by the bucket load as I couldn't stand the taste of ciggies. Why did I smoke. ???

Although, I love the smell still of my Dad's baccy pouch . . . absolutely lush. But it doesn't make me want to smoke a ciggy, just something about the smell of the tobacco leaves.

I must be the worst hypocrite I haven't even managed to quit smoking altogether but I hate the reek I will avoid busy streets at rush hour and have recoiled a few times when heavy smokers approach me at work, but the handful of fags I still have a day are ok lol! When I do quit altogether I'll be insufferable ......

I must admit I never have been one of those annoying ex-smokers lol. It really doesn't bother me being around smokers. The only time it does bother me if I have accidentally left my vaping gear at home.

In the past when I've stopped smoking I've felt like the kids in the bisto gravy tv adverts following the smell with there nose. I would purposely stand next to someone at a bus stop smoking and take deep breaths I loved the smell.

Since I started vaping in late February I've started to dislike the smell of smoking and the smell of it on people. Weird or what I have no desire for a cigarette at all it must be the vaping that does it because when I used patches etc I still loved the smell and felt like something was missing lol

I totally get that brit, i was one of the bisto gravy kids in my previous atempts to give up smoking!

I would go out of my way to inhale some second hand smoke
