If that person was a relative of mine I would be extremely worried about the state of her mind. I wonder what other little activities someone with that type of mindset could possibly undertake when faced with any small, vunerable creatures including perhaps even children. Most unpleasant! Fox >

A bit of an over simplified assesment from me but, mad/bad/sad all spring into my mind ~ either one or a combination.

I rekon there are others out there who hate cats who'd love to do what she did.
You'd be surprised how many people hate cats. It's quite disturbing.

Just remembered - there was a dear little ginger lived in my road and she would run up to me and snuggle just like the CCTV puss, so affectionate! It did worry me, how vulnerable she was, and one day she was covered in dust.
We've got a gorgeous torty next door who follows her mistress about like a dog, up and down the road - delightful.

Got a bit of a dilemma here. A Maine Coon breeder has asked me if I would take in 2 of her retired breeding queens. She desperately wants me to give them a loving home, just can't decide what is the right thing to do Jasmine is over 10 & a half years old & her daughter Sasha is 8 & a half years old. The only pics I have found of them so far are very old ones : - Jasmine with her first born : - And Sasha as a kitten : - Doesn't really matter to me what they look like, hence why I've not asked her to send me some pics, just thought you would all like to see them

That's a difficult one Beeper. Some cats live into their twenties but the average life span of a domestic moggie is 12-15 years. For some breeds, including maine Coons, it tends to be less.

Beep, they are in good health & it's not their age that worries me as I'm more than happy to let them happily live out their last few years with me. It's more the fact that I've got 7 cats already. Lol, I think I'm sort of looking for someone to say "no" I shouldn't take them on Cos my head is saying no, but my heart is saying yes.
