My poor little rescue boy hates to be away from me, and people like him.
I could let him lay on my coat.
I know I'll be cold but that hardly matters really.

It's taken three years for him completely trust me and he hates to see me upset.
He thinks it's his fault......

Anyway, I'm going off the subject.

I'll scrape up some money from somewhere to buy myself a ticket.

My fingers have thawed just enough for me to be able to type...

None of my neighbours wanted to lend me a violin. I suppose they thought I was mad to think they would allow me to borrow such a valuable instrument.

Some people are very precious about their fiddles!

Mungo and I walked into town anyway. It was only 3 miles and I didn't want to waste my few precious pennies on bus-fare.

I found a very busy spot by the Bargate and we settled into our pitch.

After 10 hours I had been given 2 ham sandwiches (I don't like meat!) and 21 tins of dog food.

Mungo threw up on my lap after a surfeit of treats from the general public. (and the ham from my sandwiches)

And then we had to walk home again.
The bus drivers all refused to take 6 tins of Pedigree Chum in lieu of cash.

Imagine my joy and excitement when I arrived home to find a raffle ticket from Jason!!!!




You'd need a great imagination 'cos it didn't happen........
