No we don't have a farm just some land we have next door to us that we rent from the Council , we use it for growing our own veg and flowers bit bigger than an allotment, keeps my Hubby busy and away from under my feet most weekends , We got the Chickens from the local farm shop who have a "clear out" every so often so you can say we "rescued" them ,don't know what them attachment numbers mean lol. You're not going to eat them though....are you ?

This is my little Evie when she was about 10 weeks old. she is lying on her back between my legs And again sleeping on my legs But my how she has grown, pictured here with the other mutt, loopy loo. Evie is a lurcher (1/2 collie, 1/2 greyhound, Loopy is 1/4 collie, 3/4 greyhound) And the there is the pack. Mali is a Jack Russell Finally is my pet missus. Aint she a beauty I would put the others in there, the two horses, 13 fish, 5 chickens, 12 pigeons but there is not enough space . My pet SWMBO is desperate for a cat now. I cant wait, I'm sure I can train the lurcher's. They are a couple of wimps anyway. Regards Jez

I may be wrong but i think Chuck Yeager was a test pilot/astronaut. Was'nt he one of the first or THE first man to fly faster than the speed of sound. To fly through the sound barrier.
I know what your husband means. My wife keeps rabbits. I have gotten to know their personalities. And it now horrifies me to think that people EAT rabbits. And of course a lot of people shoot them for fun. Harsh or what ?
Jez - i take it you like to have pets......lol

When you live in the country dell and have the space I think its great to surround yourself with animals. I get on better with things that cant talk back. Thats why were thinking of putting the pet missus up for rescue Jez
