Mix - 70vg (Concentrate 20%)
Nic - 4mg
Steep - Shake and vape
Kit - Famovape Magma (ridiculously light for a 2 18650 mod) with Cleito 120 with 0.15ohm mesh coil @ 65w Blurb - Naraja - Juicy and tangy Spanish oranges bursting with classic sweet citrus flavour. Incredibly refreshing taste.
Short and sweet? Incredibly authentic.
So, after the success of El Fruto 'Peach', what could 'orange' come up with?
'Orange'. As a name for a juice, it is fairly descriptive (being many types of orange) if not exactly inspirational. However, I'm a simple guy and if I am looking for a juice I find looking up 'orange' a tad easier than having to click on a load of ridiculous juice names like 'Zargon anthracite acid' to find out it's actually a vanilla cheesecake. However, pushing out one flavour juices with a simple name could also perhaps be viewed as a bold move? Our juice is 'orange' so that's what we are calling it. It does what it says on the tin...err..bottle.
Cutting to the chase (finally...), it is excellent. It is sweet and it is juicy and, as with the peach, the flavour is long, long lasting. One of my favourite comedies of all time is Fawlty Towers and it reminds me of the scene with the American guy and his wife. Orange juice. Out of an orange. Not a carton. Freshly squeezed.
Again, we have the perfect mixture of sweet and sharp here. Nice acidity and incredibly fresh. I'm getting a pulp and peel on the inhale before going into the sharp and sweet juicy orange before a return to a slight rind/peel at the end. Then the sweet/sharp sits in the middle of the tongue and stays there (literally minutes). It is really, really good.
To finish, back to the SAS - the absolute key here is 'authentic'. This is high quality, refreshing fresh orange juice with an exceptional flavour.
An old hobby horse of mine, but simple done well is a wonderful thing.

Mix - 70vg (Concentrate 20%) Nic - 4mg Steep - Shake and vape Kit - Voopoo Alpha with Clieto v.1 with Cleito Pro 0.5 ohm coil @ 58w The blurb - "The juiciest peach en el arbol. Unleash a splash of mellow and slightly tangy peach flavour perfect for all day vaping." Short and sweet? Surprisingly superb. Around the interwebs, El Fruto have had a fair bit of publicity recently. Lots of nice comments and big 'em up reviews. I'm certainly one to avoid "hype" stuff where I can (OK, OK, apart from Mexican Fried Ice Cream...) but as a lover of the fruit, I thought why not. I had a rather big concern up front. "Peach". Now, I love peaches as much as the next peach lover but I was kind of thinking will one flavour cut it? As a huge fan of mixed fruits (and particularly ones called 'Kernow Black') I tend to go for fruit 'plus', be it menthol, eucalyptus or others. I guess the fear could have been a throw back to the early days of 'cheap' one flavour juice - yep, you remember them - "Awful Vapes" presents 'Strawberry' - two drips of the cheapest concentrate and straight in the bin. However, good news, this, for me, is very good. This is pretty much what peach juice from a bottle would taste like. I'm going for white peach on this one rather than yellow. We've got a decent level of sweetness going on but with a wonderful underlying twang of acid to keep things in check. The absolute killer on this one is the exhale. It is juicy with a big 'J'. The flavour, even for an oldie with shot taste buds like me, is lasting on the back of the tongue for literally minutes. I'm certain this is my imagination, but I'm getting a kind of peach outside/skin (the 'fuzzy' bit) on the exhale too. The aroma of this one is a beautiful thing too. Very accomplished. Very clever. Very tasty. (I'm extra glad about this as I bought the orange one, yet to be tried, at the same time) www.eliquidflavourconcentrates.co.uk/peach-flavour-shot-by-el-fruto--250ml (Where I bought mine - no sponsorship/inducements etc. here)

Hi ghostrider1971 Always enjoy reading your flavour reviews, clear, direct, witty with a personal balanced critique. Bypassing any hype and label image . Informative to know, what you find good and, not quite so good. Positives and negatives within a particular flavour. ( allowances for: taste is subjective and different atty's will pull out different flavour notes ). Just to say, thank you for your time and effort. Look forward to your next instalment ! Thank you for your kind words - I really appreciate it

Mix - 65 VG (with 2% WS-23 basemix) Nic - 4mg Concentrate - 20% Steep - 5 days Short and sweet? Absolutely delightful Flavour profile - guava and apple. Now, this is a bit more like it! From the gun, this one has been a real delight. The apple is green and sweet/sour and absolutely spot on. Imagine taking a huge gnaw out of a ripe and crispy Granny Smith and you'd be spot on. Again, I mixed this one with 2% WS-23 base mix and that just leaves enough cool on the back roof of the mouth. The apple has almost a cidery kind of taste on the end of the exhale. Not quite sure where the guava is happening - I've had the real thing loads of times - for the vape, it certainly isn't "The guava fruit tastes like a combination of strawberry, pear, and even mango. It has a sweet taste once it is ripe." - but this doesn't really detract from that wonderful apple flavour. A keeper? Maybe. Enjoyable? Very much.

Mix - 65 VG (with 2% WS-23 basemix) Nic - 4mg Concentrate - 20% Steep - 5 days Kit - Asmodus Minikin with Cleito 120 @ 60w Short and sweet? Very curious... Holiday is one of the most popular ELFC flavours and is praised to the gills on their FB group on an at least bi-weekly basis. I tried it a few months back and was hugely disappointed. A haze of pretty much nowt. Flavour profile is tangerine, passion fruit and lemonade which should be (as the kids say) a 'banger' for me. Few months pass, have read a load more reviews about how wonderful it is and....had to try it again. First test was after a couple of days of steeping and all I got was a bitter rind taste. Wasn't pleasant. A few days later (i.e. now) and I am seeing some improvement. I don't get the passion fruit or lemonade at all. There is an orange and it is pretty tasty. Nice and wet almost cactusy flavour. Being a fan of the cold, I mixed this one up with a 2% WS-23 basemix. The cold certainly helps for me - I've certainly got through a number of tanks over the past day or two but almost not sure why. I'd certainly like the fruit to be popping more than it does but I do keep going back to it. Appreciate this one doesn't say much, but that is, for me, an accurate review. I quite like but it doesn't meet the profile for me, but I am keeping on picking it up. As I said with the opener, very curious.... PS - If anyone is a regular vaper of this and could add more, I'd love to hear it

Mix - 65 VG
Nic - 4mg
Concentrate - 20%
Steep - 5 days
Kit - Voopoo Omega with Clieto v.1 @ 57.5w (0.5 ohm Cleito Pro coil)
Short and sweet? "Red Astaire Lite" - a good thing...
Second one from Chubby Shotz after being so impressed with Black Breeze and, for me, this one delivers again.
Pretty much everyone is familiar with Red Astaire. Certainly a vaping staple of mine from the early days and one I go back to when I can get a deal on the concentrate (although they now do a longfill option if MTL is your bag which is a pretty good deal).
Red Diesel is to Red Astaire what Black Breeze is to Kernow Black - a very tasty but lighter version.
RA (the original) is certainly deeper and has much more eucalyptus/menthol but that doesn't stop this one from being a winner. I think the key for me is the exhale - you get a lovely fruity taste and a smidge (but enough) eucalyptus whereas I did find it over-powering when chain vaping the original RA.
A very solid 9/10 for this one. Very nice indeed. (£9.99 for a 250ml "bottle shot").

Concentrate - 20% Steep - 3+ weeks VG - 65% Nic - 4mg Profile - Biscuit, tobacco, cream and caramel Kit - Horizontech Sakerz with 0.16ohm coil @ 65w
"Andy in new tank shocker". Yep, I picked up a Sazerk about 3 weeks ago to go alongside my Clieto fleet and impressive it is too. I'm certainly not bright enough to do hardware reviews, but if you are looking for a new sub-ohm tank this one is top air flow, almost silent and the flavour has been absolutely superb - picked mine up online for just over 20 quid and am very impressed. But, as Alex Bellfield (Arrgghh...) would say "That's not why you called"...
Short and sweet? "Polished and pretty good".
Oxymoronic Andy strikes again - polished but only "pretty good"? Ok - why?
We all know Nom Nomz. We all know they do some fabulous stuff. We all know they have excellent customer service and are quite rightly very well established. I'm sure many others have tried this one too. Would love to hear what you think of BB.
My usual gripe - even on the Sakerz, for me, it ain't strong enough. Maybe biscuit and cream and caramel are actually pretty gentle flavours? It is super smooth with a lovely rich and sweet inhale. Getting cream underneath and a lovely caramel on top. Also get the biscuit - all the way through - the tobacco for me comes at the end of the exhale (and lingers after) and it is quite a nice harsh flavour (being a non-NET) and cuts through the sweetness.
As per the short and sweet, this is a polished and professional concoction, as we would expect from NN. Totally appreciate that strength is very much horses for courses, for plenty this will be bang on - for me, another 5-7% of flavour and I could fall in love with this one.
I've recently reduced my VG mixes from 80 (then 70) to 65 to get more flavour all round - for me, it is close but still lacking slightly.
A solid 7.75/10....but I wanted it to be a 9....

Concentrate - 20% VG - 65% Nic - 4mg Voopoo Omega and Cleito 120 @ 65w on 0.16ohm coil Steep - 3 days Flavour profile - Blackcurrant, blackberry and aniseed www.eliquidflavourconcentrates.co.uk/flavour-shots/chubby-juiceShort and sweet? "Kernow Black Light" - a very, very good thing... ELFC recently started stocking this new brand (No, they don't sponsor me - sadly..) - I though Chubby Shotz was a fun name and with Kernow Black being unashamedly my favourite juice ever, thought it might be nice to try a new variant (Yep, I know Zeus is probably the original but it's still too expensive for me...) Put it this way, if you like this kind of flavour I think you would love this - I already have it on the go in my Clieto 120 and one of my normal Clieto tanks - it is jolly good in both. I don't really get aniseed at all but the blackberry and blackcurrant are prevalent but with a much lighter taste than Kernow Black. Rather than an aniseed, I get a menthol kind of hit on the inhale which is strong but do-able and pretty good too. KB has that deep, thick and powerful fruit - this one is more like a cordial or juice. It is very fresh and light and, for me, certainly has that "Oh go on, one more toot" thing going on. An excellent start from CJ and I will certainly happily invest my hard earned in a few more in due course - lots of decent looking fruit mixes going on there. Whatever other flavours I had going on in the past, I always had a tank of Red Astaire on the go. RA was replaced by KB - I would happily alternate between KB and BB as my "stock" tank. Final thoughts - If, for me, KB is 11/10, then this BB is certainly a good 9/10.

Mix - 65 VG Nic - 4mg Concentrate - 20% Steep - 3 days Kit - Voopoo Omega with Clieto 120 @ 60w (0.16 ohm) Second one from my cheapo haul of Black Friday goodness from Drip Hacks. Short and sweet? "Powerful loveliness". Winter cherry. Hmmmm. Yes. Was really hoping this one would deliver too and it surely does. On the inhale we have a decent level of cold - not DH Cryo but certainly has strength (I like decent cold in my cold and this works for me!) The cherry starts to mix in with the cold and it's fruity, soft and soothing and juicy. The cherry, having started out as more of a Tune, then seems to sit at the back of my tongue and is like the inside of a Halls Soother (which I love) and has that kind of thick liquid feeling. The cold goes quickly but the cherry flavour lingers long after the vape with a slight menthol coldness - very slight - but a delightful mix. Running this through a Cleito 120 @ 60w is providing excellent flavour - I have a slight concern it could/would be almost too powerful a flavour (not something I say often) if I ran the wattage much higher. Really impressed with this one. Strongly recommended. I really like the layering and changes in a relatively simple flavour combination. A good chance this could be added to the rotation further down the line. However..... I also have DH Blue Slush on the go at the moment and that is like vaping 7 spoons of sugar glucose juice in warm water at the moment. But we'll save that one for another time... I love trying new stuff.....sometimes

Mix - 65 VG Nic - 4mg Concentrate - 20% Steep - 2 days Kit - Voopoo Omega with Clieto 120 @ 75w (0.16 ohm) Short and sweet? "Ohhhh yes"! A fantastic juice and about time too Had a few hits and misses recently trying new stuff and was really in need of something good and, hurrah, Fresh Tropic delivers and some. First inhale is a sweet and juicy pineapple. Authentic taste - sweet and a little sharp - nice and strong. The exhale develops in to a mixed fruit kind of smoothie which is equally flavorsome and juicy. It's strong. It's mushy. It's pulpy. In fact, for me, it is absolutely lovely. Sitting at home this evening in a dark and dank South London, this is a reminder of happy summer, blue sky, lapping waves and any other appropriate hack cliches we could add. It's a bit sweet but kind of natural fruit sweet. The juiciness makes this one for me (and no dry mouth after, so far). Put it this way, I must really like this as I haven't grumbled about it not being cold or not having any WS-23 With DH having a very generous sale at the moment, if you like a nice strong mixed fruit...it might be worth picking up a gallon or two.... www.driphacks.com/fresh-tropic-august-fotm/

Sad to hear that Have used them a couple of times - stuff arrives quickly and the prices can be very good but the boxes are always crushed - old stock/badly packed or courier I don't know.

Mix - 70vg Nic - 4mg Concentrate - 20% Steep - 3 weeks Kit - Voopoo Omega - Clieto 120 with 0.15ohm mesh @ 65w
Short and sharp? "Not bad".
Found the idea of blood orange and guava very appealing. Guava certainly has a very distinctive taste and hoped it would vape as well. Lots of good news on this - mixes absolutely crystal clear and is super smooth. Get the blood orange at the end of the inhale and the guava on the tip of the exhale. Clever stuff and both are authentic and nice and fruity. It's definitely a soft fruit taste overall - no strike outs or real punch.
Sadly, we have two major downers - this one makes my mouth feel very, very dry. Perhaps slightly more annoying is the level of sweetness. Literally like swallowing two teaspoons of sugar with each vape. Which I'm sure is adding to the dry mouth feeling.
Like the earlier Zeus review, this offering from JJ is still fairly slick and a nice professional fruity mix. For me, however, the sweetness is much too much.
Again, like the Zeus, I am glad I tried it but certainly wouldn't buy it again.
