Hi, lesley1 .... I wondered where you had got to with this

I used the nic combine tool from the EjuiceMeUp calculator (and some trial and error) to calculate the 3.3ml of 0mg/ml diluent per 10ml of 24mg/ml eliquid. (Where the 3.3ml of 0mg/ml diluent could be VG, PG or 0mg/ml e-liquid)

Yes , if you mixed 10ml of 24mg/ml with 10ml of 12mg/ml you would also achieve 18mg/ml.

Set your Pico into variable wattage mode (the default, if you haven't fiddled around too much).
Make sure your coils are well primed (at least 10 mins soaking in the tank)
I'm currently vaping on a 1.8 Triton coil at 8.6W and airflow control wide open with good results.
Just increase or decrease the power level until you find a sweet spot for yourself.
Oh and fit a regular 510 drip tip instead of the wide bore thingy supplied with the tank

At this stage it's the best that we've got.... will it make an impact.... maybe not, but worth trying.

You can then help organise a protest when we need to throw our toys out of the pram!!

A stash of nicotine base should be seen as insurance / future proofing.
I strongly suspect at some point in the next few years TAX is going to be added to nicotine containing e-liquids

Based on £1.00 per 10ml taxation a single 1lt bottle of 72mg could save the owner vaping at 3mg around £2400 in tax ---- note at 18mg = £400 saving

lesley1 I have a couple of Melo 3 minis and they are indeed great tanks and the Triton coils work fine in them, the ECML coils that are linked to above are also MTL (mouth to lung) coils which is what you are after, just because the are only 0.75ohm doesn't mean you will be sub-ohming with them, they are just another addition to the coil range as so many people wanted a MTL coil for them.

However as also stated above you really don't have to use the Melo with the Pico if you don't want to, any tank with a 510 threading will fit the Pico and there is a whole matchy matchy world out there to try, I am also of the matching mindset as I have OCD pretty bad but I use all sorts of tanks on the Pico and just change the drip tip out to a matching one. Satisfies my OCD matching mind and means I don't have to use the Melo all the time although I haven't a problem using it at all.
