And you know its interesting that you say that Brian. Because another point which I wanted to add is also, I started on a looky likely and went on from there. But in some respect there still has to be a degree of willpower to want to keep vaping. For instance when I ordered my first kit I did a lot of research around it, which interestingly enough I also did back in 2009, while I had tried champix. So do you therefore think that also partly so people fail is due to not being educated enough, and all available options not being accessible for people who want to look at alternatives, that's why I'm kinda glad rusty is putting a leaflet together.

I started on VIP`s. I thought they were the dogs, but soon realised there were much better stuff out there. The thing is with their batteries, and they do warn about this, is that you shouldnt charge for more than 2 hours or the battery totally discharges. I can vouch for that, as it happened to 2 of mine. They were not interested in replacing them as they pointed to T&C`s. Still got 2 batteries and almost 30 unused carts. In one day I used up 4 carts that they state are the equivalent of 40 fags per cart.... total bull! Wow Brian that would have been enough to make any one go back on the fags.

Bluefish sorry couldn't quote, but actually you will.probably find lots and.lots of vapers have more than.one.device. Me included and its not one is more inferior than the other. Each device is different to vape on for flavour, throat hit and vapour. There is nothing wrong with having a couple of.different devices, so Dave has a provari, so what????? Plenty of.other people do and a lavatube and a GG and a bolt etc. I'm struggling to see your point.

Bluefish well done btw on making the move from smoking to vaping. And what brilliant news that E-Lites have helped you make a successful transition from smoking to vaping.
Unfortunatly though tis true that a lot of people have not been as fortunate for one reason or another, but please understand that it is not just this company but others aswell, that people have also not been able to make the transition, for similar reasons.

I fully understand that Daz and im not out to prove you wrong mate i was simply trying to make my point that this guy may not know much about e-cigs... hell he may not even use one LOL so we should be asking him where he got his information before making a fool out of him on VTTV... i know Dave said he may have got carried away in the heat of the moment and may not set a mob on him LOL... for all we know he maybe reading off the fact sheet given him from e-lites verbatim... i doubt it but you never know he maybe the victim in this. we have all found the wonders of vaping and i know this guys practice of selling e-lites isnt ideal but maybe we should appreciate that at least he is getting the word out there and raising public awareness of e-cigs ...if someone wants to quit change over to e-cigs then even a cig-e-like like e-lite will aid them in achieving this Dont worry im not offended Gordy I know what you meant. The thing is regarding this video in my opinion. Without doing this video that Dave has kindly done, to be fair and spent money on a kit. Things were said that even I dont agree with, for instance "its just water and nicotine." Imo it is going to take something like this to be able to bring it back higher up to Elites, for them to see what damage it is doing to their own reputation. Whilst they seem to be marketing nationwide, franchising and such there is nothing, but nothing more powerful than the word of mouth. Which all in all is what it comes down, to we the consumer need protection for what ever device we choose to vape on. It does not set a good example for a large firm, if they have been to be training franchisees to be misinforming, consumers if they are. How on earth will we ever know unless, something like this is done so that someone will sit up and pay attention????

I dont know Gordy it was years ago, all I was pointing it out in the video was because it happened to me. I am really sorry at the fact that I was misinforming people about batteries getting hot in pockets because of body heat. I dont know if I said that did I??? And if I did I apologise because that is what I thought happened because it happened to me. And thus used my own experience because I thought that was what happened, to inform of it in my video. Purely because what you just said I did not know and dont know that much about batteries, hell ive only been vaping 11 weeks. But this was all due to personal experience. But what you also have to appreciate is not everyone knows that either.

Gordy regarding the batteries in pockets I hear what your saying. Of course I'm not talking about all batteries, ie mobile phone battery is on a mobile phone which is also a protective casing, to prevent this type of thing. Couple of years back I had a c cell battery on my trouser pocket don't ask me why I don't know myself. After having that battery in my pocket for a few hours, it got hot and burned my leg and hand pulling it out of my pocket. That's all I'm saying why I don't put my stuff in my pocket unless it has a protectivecasing. I dont want to get caught up in the actual safety of batteries but body heat alone can not cause a battery to over heat. the point i want to bring to your attention is that you gave out incorrect information and i would like you to realise how easy it is to do without being aware. this guy may well be a lovely guy and just be miss-informed. so we should give him the benefit of the doubt and ascertain this before half a dozen people surround his stall with cameras. may i suggest popping your battery in a zip lock baggie if you are concerned with shorting your battery while in your pocket Sorry Gordy I disagree and no it was not incorrect information, it happened to me thats why I dont put batteries in pockets that is all im saying. We are just going to have to disagree on the matter.

Can i suggest this gets moved to the members area. Dont think we want to show this thread to casual onlookers who can then tip off our quarry? Very good point Brian if they haven't seen it already.
