yep 3000mahs would last days in an mtl set. youll be hard pushed to find a 'pen' style device that big in mahs other than the ijust S battery that should take any 510 atty. I am tempted to get her that purely so she can vape for a few days without swapping out batteries constantly and get a mtl tank, any recommendations ? I use sub ohm direct lung set ups so unsure where to go with the best mtl as my mtl was a 5.99 job from B&M! I just need so thing that is easy and cheap to get fairly decent coils for and a big enough tank to get away with less refills !

Ive not tried it so cant really comment on performance but there only seems to be 1 kind of head avaliable for it. The Ijust 1 takes different heads 1 of which is the GS which are fairly cheap and definitely MTL style. Theres a Ijust 1 for sale in the classifieds cheap if you fancy trying 1 on the cheap. The egoaio is also a fairly good MTL device my moo loves hers. Thanks, do you reckon the nexgen would be able to take a gs1.5ohm coil ? I know it's more money but the battery life is great and If I could pop a 1.5ohm coil in that with the tank that's already on it that would be perfect 👌🏿 Edit: ah just reread what you said about the 1 head for the nexgen that's a shame

My partner has the most basic of eGo sticks going with a 650mAh battery which is fine but vapes constantly and is going through the cleormiser coils like nobodies business as well as batteries. She's not bothered about having anything advanced as it's just to get off the cigarettes and eventually wants to get off the vape too (dont know why as I love it ! ) so not looking for anything to break the bank either. I was looking at eleaf Ijust nexgen but not sure if this is suitable for mtl and wondered if anyone can suggest anything more suitable and maybe better and cheaper ?
Thanks in advance!

Ah ha I did wonder if that's where I was going wrong thank you. I think my problem was because I was told my 20w mod couldn't facilitate a sub ohm tank I assumed that by getting a 40w mod, I needed it to be as just as high during vaping ( if that makes sense) you live you learn eh! Just to clarify what's the rule of the thumb with watts and resistance settings and what difference will the soft-standard-power settings make and when should I use each setting ? There are lots of variables so like Perpetua says it's best to start at a low setting and gradually bump the wattage up until you find a spot that feels right for that coil in that tank. If you start too low the worst you are going to do is end up flooding the coil with too much liquid in which case just cover the air holes with some tissue and blow hard down the drip tip to clear the excess juice. If you start too high you're going to burn the wick and the coil is ruined. The soft, standard and hard settings will affect the ramp up time or how long the coil takes to heat the liquid to the point you want. Kind of like when you switch a kettle on the water doesn't boil instantly even though you have the same amount of power/heat going through the element when you switch it on as when it's finally boiling. Some people like the coil/liquid to reach the peak quicker so they will use the hard setting which will deliver extra power for the first second when you press the fire button to heat the coil/liquid faster. Say for example you have your device set at 30W on the hard setting it will actually fire at 40W for 1 second and then automatically drop to 30W. The soft setting will do the opposite if you like the coil to heat up slowly, it will deliver 20W for 1 second and the automatically increase to 30W. The standard setting will just deliver 30W from beginning to end. Great that explains a lot thankyou

Received new COV Minivolt (YEY!), seemed to work fine on the first few puffs then burning and not much flavour from the e juice coming through, tried it on different power settings (seems to be worse on the soft setting) and different watts (30-40) but only marginal difference, this is using the tank and coil (0.8ohm) that came with the kit. Could the coil have burned out already? Read around some various threads just wondered if anyone else has had the same experience with this particular kit? tempted to take the coil apart and have a good look but since im still pretty new to all this and no experience with rebuilding whatsoever I wasn't too sure whether it would benefit me or not 30-40W sounds a little high for a 0.8ohm coil. If you burn the cotton you're going to get a manky taste and the coil is toast you can't unburn it, time to change the coil. I would start at around 22W take a few puffs then bump it up by 1W try it again and so on until you hit the spot that is good for you. Ah ha I did wonder if that's where I was going wrong thank you. Contact Liberty Flights explain what is happening and show them the video and ask for a replacement, i'm almost 100% positive it's a problem with a bad internal battery. Thinking I might just reorder one and ask for a refund for the broken one as I can see this taking a long long time to resolve with postage times etc

Ok this is what's happening now (trying to share link I hope it works ) as you can see as soon as the screen come on it states full battery in top right corner then switches to low battery. This has been charging all afternoon. Has anyone had experience of this happening to them with a brand new mod or old one ? (please excuse the quality of the vid trying to get it up quickly )

Tastes are subjective as they say, heizenberg is definitely 1 on my avoid at all costs list. I once bought a second hand tank that had had heizenberg in it and the only way to get rid of the after taste was to throw the tank away lol. Il try that one in one of my cheap tanks then 😬 Some of my juices came today in the post, I smelt the Heisenberg and it's safe to say, I won't be vaping that one its horrifically strong!

they do take a really long time to charge normally about 4 hours so it might be worth plugging it in and letting it charge for that and see if it makes a diff after that i cant think of anything else to try Cheers il give it a go see if it helps 👍🏻Hopefully I'm whittling like an old fishwife over nothing

Ok so checked the coil and tightened it and refilled seems fine. Fully charged the battery on the mod but weirdly it'll turn on with full battery for about a second and then states the battery low and turn off, really weird stuff don't know what the problem is but can't seem to find a thread about that particular issue
