Isn't that what temp control is supposed to do. You still need to dry burn to clean if you use NET liquid and some SS the surface just flakes off, I posted some detailed picks of the here a year or two ago, sorry cant't find the thread but here is a pic. I think the best on the market is the sandvik stuff from Sweden, I've not found any better. Dry burns fine.

I've got some cracking Swedish made ss316. I dabble with Tc now and again and its the best I've tried. The first stuff I had before just stopped firing when it hit the desired temp lol. Isn't that what temp control is supposed to do. No its supposed to keep the coil at the desired temp no higher 😋

Good quality stainless steel meaning one that's surface doesn't break down when dry burnt and with an accurate TCR. I've got some cracking Swedish made ss316. I prefer ni80 aliens or fused claptons as my abilities are to make simple claptons. happy enough at around .3 - .6 I use mainly dual coils on a variety of atties with a wide bore for cotton (3-3.5) Seems like you have a great name already "Coil Monkey" and a sweet little cardboard box as said before with the coils laying on a bed of ready to use cotton possibly with a business card inside with a logo such as "monkey say, monkey do, Here's the coils, hand made for you Gimmicky i know, but i am half way through tonight's ale rations colli I like you're thinking lol don't worry I'm currently doing the same. I actually like that tbh and I bet my daughter will be in stitches when I tell her that lol. Appreciated and enjoy that ale 👌

Tbh guys I only run single coil also in a sqounker about 0.5ohm is my prefferd spot so I totally understand that. I take it you would still preffer the 2 coils as that gives you the choice of 0.5 or 0.25? I very very rarely use a dual coil rda these days. The only one I use is the armor and I find that suited to a dual build with standard ni80 round wire. My go to atty is the haku at around 0.3 ohms I appreciate this guys keep these ideas coming 👍

6. Thoughts on packaging. Nothing to say about coils as I happily make my own and for friends sorry but packaging; plastic free and bio-degradeable is good. I know I love getting something in a cardboard box etc rather than something that is going to end up being an environmental hazard. NB dont put me in the raffle and good luck with the enterprise. Great idea with the cardboard. I'll just need to source some samples, I can see it being difficult to get the size I'm after and strong enough to withstand postage but I will have a look. Cheers

I could use from 0.2 to 0.5 but my mrs would be more 1.5 to 1.8 I imagine all the usual suspects regarding wire as there are a fair few folks here and elsewhere that either prefer 1 over another or mix it up depending on the atty. Can I ask what your both preffer attys are?

I'd like ready made coils that have a gurt big internal diameter, as I don't have bionic eyesight for wicking them up . . . . plus have a decent ' leg ' length, as many seem to be really niggardly. Nothing fancy required from me by way of design or material, guess I use in the range of 0.5ohm - 1.8ohm. Not much to ask is it George. No that's great, can I ask what rebuildable you would be installing on? What about prewicked? Perpetua

Hi all 👋,
As the title suggests I'm looking for the communities advice.
I'm currently in the process of starting a custom/bespoke handmade coil service and would love some advice/feedback. Everyone who contributes to this will be entered in to a draw for a sample of the finished product, if you would rather not just let me know.
So I would appreciate advice/help with the following:
1. Common coil types you would like to see as standard.
2. Would you like to be able to choose certain ohms?
3. Range of ohms you would use.
4. Types of material.
5. Would you want the coils to be conditioned/colored?
6. Thoughts on packaging.
7. Name suggestions.
I know this is a big ask and appreciate any and all feedback even if I've not put it on the list.
Many thanks George.
