If you're going to be buying a kit then it will come with 2 batteries, 2 atomizers and all the other stuff you need. I'd be tempted to buy a couple of extra atomizers to be going on with. The empty catridges are just that and will last for ages. You put foam filler in them (they will come with the filler in) then fill them with juice, around 8 - 10 drops or until the filler is wet. You can buy new filler for pennies. Although you may find that once you get started a cartomizer will be a better bet as they're far less faff free. As for eliquid I would be tempted to buy around 20 - 30 ml in different flavours, this way you can have a play around and see what you prefer. My friend bought her first ecig last week, she's saved over £50 in fags in just under a week, so it's well worth the initial outlay

I had thought about this Dee, but not as a business. If I can make a decent coil I'd get people to send me a bit of wire and wick with a SAE and make them and send them back. Might take you up on that Lee It's not that I'm useless of course, just very short on time - well that's my excuse

I've used the dual coil at 4.1 today, I've gone back to my beloved LR901 which I'm finding is better at a measly 3.4. The atty was dying but is now back to better than its former glory with the Provari.
The dual coil I was using was dead on my Riva battery and not doing too well with my SD so I've had another day out of it with the Provari and playing around with the voltage.
I've been single for a long time but have to say this is the best toy I've had for years *inserts a little devil smiley*

Nicky the ego is the same as a riva. I have carried numerous batteries around with me and the only time I've accidently set one off was the other week while on a training course. I had an ecig I'd just used in my jeans pocket. I bent down for a short while to pick up some pics on the floor and wondered why my leg felt so hot! LOL

ok ,thanks to you all, i have checked out a you tube trailer and have decided on the Riva 1100 thanks to Chrissie and Jason, one last question (hopefully), i assume with me smoking a mild cigarette i would the winson low be best for me in the e bottle, and how long does each bottle last (just so i know how many to order. I would definitely advise you to go for a low nic eliquid and a high for your hubby. No one can really say how long a bottle will last, it will depend on how much you vape. I tend to get through around 4 - 5 ml a day but I vape like a train You'll also find that your tastes will change once you get into vaping, a lot of us now go for the more fruity flavours, although there are some that still prefer the tobacco tastes.

Hi Nicky, welcome Chrissie and Jason have given you the best option for you both. You are not being a pain hun, we all have to start somewhere and it's a darn sight easier for those of us with a long time vaping under our belts.

Just a thought that passed through the gap between my ears - I wonder if someone who's not currently employed would be interested in starting a little hobby business making ready make coils at different resistances? I'd be happy to purchase mine ready made

I'm using it right now Ian thanks, it's great with the dual coils too Can't wait for the Iatty now although it's starting to look like they're a bit more complicated than I first thought! LOL.
