The only way I have managed to set off a fire alarm is by deliberately blowing vape into the fire alarm detection window. This was as a test. I have tried it on smoke alarms in a few friend's homes and my own apartment.
It also depends on if the fire detector is optical or air sampling type. I suspect the optical alarm will go off more easily. I have not come across a optical type in a residential property.

No worries. Mine is a V1 so the top cap is a screw type but the hole lines up. This is the piece on a spinner: a close up and the drip tip.

I have an AGA-S (used) which I no longer use in reasonably good condition.
Yours for a tenner including a SS drip tip and postage (PP F&F). 16mm diameter and a half decent genesis atty. Holes line up and will be boiled and cleaned.

Get an old computer power supply and wire it up to the 5 volt line and put it under your desk It'll rip your throat out if you so wish and you can pick one up for under a £1 if you don't have one lying around .

I do appreciate your concern. I am going to be using a safety circuit as soon as I discover the best one for the job. The whole point in this thread is to help in the design progress and augment my limited understanding to improve my abilities. I will not build it until the whole project has been worked out. However I am stubborn and it will be completed in the next 2 months. I do pay attention and learn very quickly. So right now the plan is 510 connection - looking for suitable ego/510 (I don't like adapters) 32650 3.7v battery - only 1 Vamo PCB - built in protection Safety circuit - added piece of mind Micro USB charge port with a usb 2.0 output port to charge my phone For the connector you can buy this: www.stealthvape.co.uk/electronic-cigarette-mod-parts/ecig-mod-parts-battery-connectors/510-510-battery-connector-with-nutComes with a 510 nut. Or you can buy above and a 510-ego adapter and the nut will fit the 510 part. www.stealthvape.co.uk/e-cigarette-accessories/ecig-adapters/510-ego-adapterIf you are using a single battery the Vamo circuit should provide adequate safety. However you might find that a 32mm diameter battery would make a wooden mod uncomfortable to hold due to the thickness of the wood. There are 26 and 22 mm batteries which are better suited as anything over 35 mm shorter width is quite uncomfortable even with big hands. For comparison, many box mods are around 25mm shorter width and take a flat Lipo sealed battery or a 18650. I am not too sure about this reason for adding a USB post for charging a phone. It would be better if you added a circuit to charge the battery within the mod. www.stealthvape.co.uk/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=289Wiring would be basic: 1. A posi and negi wire from battery to Vamo board. 2. A posi and negi wire from charging circuit board to the battery if you decide to fit a charging board. 3. A posi and negi wire from Vamo output to the 510 connector. The hard part is making the enclosure so that you can open it easily enough to replenish the battery when it eventually gives up and enclosure ergonomics.

NiMh batteries suffer from very large voltage drops when subjected to larger loads. With 4 x Nimh batteries in series, though theoretical voltage is 4.8-5 v, you will only get 3.5v under typical e-cig load in that configuration after the first couple of bursts and that will also rapidly decline. The VAMO circuit board will cut off at 2.8-3 volts input. So you need atleast 4 NiMH batteries in series to get started which will make your mod very very big and even that will not give you a satisfactory vape time, regardless of mAh. Two NiMH won't even power your Vamo circuit.
A couple of IMR is parallel will be much smaller with good capacity provided you have a decent safety system built in and you really know what you are doing. Else stick to a single Li ion configuration.

It's never right to counterfeit or actively encourage it whether you know them or not. There is no other answer.
Many of us, myself included, fall prey to buying counterfeit from time to time. Call it a human weakness. I resisted it for a long time but gave in last month and bought a Nemesis and a Pulse-G clone. Did I really need them? Not really. I have plenty of mods enough to last me a good few years. Does not make me better. I really don't understand why the Chinese have to put the logo as that makes it not really a clone anymore. It's a counterfeit. It's not at all an acceptable thing to do. The original duo would have set me back approx £240.00 and I was never going to buy them at those prices.
I am sure those who bought the originals have a valid right to feel angered and those who thought up the design and manufactured it even more so. Nevertheless original mods could be more realistically priced than the overinflated prices and artificial demand culture that seems to be prevalent.
However, morally, I am in the wrong. No two ways about it.

AGA T

The tank on the Aga-T is tightened by screwing the connector end and the top deck onto the center post compressing the O rings onto the edges of the tank..
That little nut is just a stop nut to prevent the center post from sliding up or down too much..It does not need to be tight.
The RSST is recommended by many as a starter Genesis atty.

You don't need a Kick ring if used in 18500 + kick mode. I need to use a kick ring plus the 500 tube on my genuine nem otherwise it does not fit. I guess it depends on: 1. The battery is a nipple or flat top. 2. How much you have to loosen the top connecting post to get your attachment to fit flush. 3. How much throw you can put up with. The Kick ring adds around 4 mm to the mod. Here is mine with a kick and a AW IR nipple top. The clones are a one to one copy so should work for the original too. At the end of the day 18490 + kick = 18650 size. It does look nicer with the Kick ring to add a bit of contrast.

]Ah I see, the vendor told me the strip down pick showed all the components from top to bottom starting from the right (bottom) to left (top), so if you are saying the item second from right is the ring then I would have thought it should have been second from left in the pic. Anyway now I know I'm getting all the bits I need all is good. Thank. Ignore me..It's probably the switch locking ring. I can't make it out from the pic as it is too small.

Yeah a few people have complained about the clone being delivered with a smashed tank..
I was fortunate that mine wasn't. It performs quite well but you need to plug the hole in the pie if you want to take it out anywhere or it'll leak all over the place. I use a old CE4-S plug.
Like the sloping floor. Allows me to vape it dry. Not sure if the pie enhances flavour but it probably does.

I bought 10 of them from flea bay hereThey are the right size @ 17x10x1mm and I am awaiting delivery. They are N35 so dunno if they will be ok but I am expecting them to be fine. That seller seems to have a few latest items in mens inner wear too if it takes anyone's fancy..

You don't need a Kick ring if used in 18500 + kick mode.
Regardless if it is a proper nemesis clone then the kick ring will be automatically included.
The "kick ring" is the smaller section what you would use with the bottom section if you were using a plain 18500 with no kick anyways..If you post a link to where you bought it from or a photo from the seller, me or someone could look at it and confirm or deny.
