Heres 1 I bodged earlier. Standard egrip coil on left my attempt a putting an up right CL coil on the right. Pretty much the same height so the correct basses should be a straight fit. yeah, but if you look inside where the base/head screws into the mod, the tube that they butt up to in both the e-grip & the e-grip OLED are different. The original e-grip has a lip on the tube, which prevents the CLR head (with silicone top gromit) tightening up to it. When I've tried screwing the CL base & CLR head into the old e-grip, it won't fit phtumshk"Life...........is just a bowl of tricks!!!!!!"

One word regarding these bases, at the neck of the base you will find two very thin white o-rings. Firstly make sure that you have both fitted, there should be plenty of spares in the bag Secondly and very importantly, lubricate these o-ring well with e-liquid before you fit into the egrip!!! They are very fragile and easy to break but when well lubricated they are fine. There will be a couple of spare larger silicon bungs, one of which needs to be fitted to the top of the attie itself, they're a bit of a bugga to fit and they seem like they're too big but if you keep working them they will eventually insert correctly and provide an excellent seal. Patience! Once fitted you won't have to touch it again. The rebuildable CLR heads work an absolute treat in the e-grip, so much so that the e-grips are my mod of choice for taking away on hols The slots in these heads are 2.5mm wide so make sure you build your coil on a 2.5mm former. I use an M3 screw and make 7 wraps of .3 kanthal around it for a 1.4ohm coil- the inner diameter of the screw between the threads is 2.5mm. Then I remove from the screw and insert a 2.5mm rod when fitting to the attie. Perfect coils every time. Just to verify blakey , the CL base & CLR heads won't fit in the original e-grip will they? It's not impossible in all honesty - the vast majority of Members on here are self regulating. Very true Perpetua...............& it will obviously help with the fact that everyone is being vetted by admin before acceptance............... "Life...........is just a bowl of tricks!!!!!!"

It'll be strange belonging to a forum & not contributing to a board, but, taking into account my total lack of interest/belief in both subjects, I shall be absconding from it..... However, I wish all those participating in it, the very best & look forward to hearing about who has fallen out with who & who has left/been banned from the forum.................................... We can only endeavour with the best of intentions Chris to keep as many Members as possible enjoying and participating in the forum. Our new Board we didn't anticipate being for everyone and why should it when we all enjoy activities that have specific interests for us as individuals. Neither is there a need for anyone to fall out or be banned if topics are debated in a mature fashion. Forum and Proboards Rules apply to this Board as much as any other. I realise your post has a tongue in cheek/humourous edge to it . . . . the intention is to clarify how we envisage it's place within our forum. "Life...........is just a bowl of tricks!!!!!!"

Just had a go with my Ego-One Mega..............It came supplied with a 0.2ohm & 0.4ohm atty head, which are of no interest to me whatsoever, so they got binned & I've fitted a 1.5ohm rebuildable head............Quite impressed with the vape...Good flavour & the air control works well, so may get another.

I haven't attempted it yet blakey , but how do you dismantle the rebuildable atty head? "Life...........is just a bowl of tricks!!!!!!" Same as early kanger heads, pull the metal pin from the bottom, remove the silicon seal Unscrew the top from the attie and that's it. Simple as simple can be- which means that you will screw it up immediately I'll certainly give it my best shot............................ "Life...........is just a bowl of tricks!!!!!!"

What size drill bit did you use on that glen. Top work by the way I ground down a 25mm spade bit to 22.5mm, but a normal 22mm bit wiggled about a bit would probably do the same job 22mm is fine for subtank minis and kayfuns, but you need that little extra for lemos etc I use a 24mm for the slightly larger atties.................
