The Freelance journalist Lorna Stewart spent a lot of time with us,originally only coming over for a couple of hours,but she stayed till near closing time and seemed to enjoy herself,I think everyone at the meet showed what we already know on this forum,that vapers are a great crowd of people,its a pity that she recorded so much and in the end only got to use bits from her interview with myself,but she has stated that the BBC are thinking of doing a much larger report in the future and that she may come to Vapefest,so lets hope,as it was only by chance she found the South East Facebook page,that this is the start of some more balanced reporting from the BBC.

What happened about the vendors venue?..............Would make more sense to have it there.........no-one to winge about vaping smells......we would all be able to sit with & speak to one another......& we'd also be able to know what goes on in the raffle......... * plus, we could give blakey 3 or 4 tables to display his collection on, in a corner somewhere & all have somewhere to sit.................  I will have a word with them,but their office is in Soho and I'm not sure if we can just go ahead and use the T Mobile place below it each time,their main base is in Wembley which I think would be to far for the travellers |

By the way Alan............any news on 'our man in the suit' 's return visit to the establishment, to have a word in the guv'nors shell like?..................or is he still in there?..............  He has been to see the manager (gregg) who said ..... Gregg the Lanlord seems fine,he did say that some of the vapes smell and get a few complaints,football Saturdays might be a bit harder for us as we may get a bit of jip,he said we are welcome for the summer as its quite,the barman was most p***ed off with UKecigstore selling in the pub,so that may be better done from outside. Make of that what you will,but I will be looking for somewhere else during the summer where we maybe more welcome |

In other words & to recap: Pro's:I got to stick my tongue in the lovely Lorna's ear. Con's:1. A whole evenings interviewing condensed into probably less than one minute airtime. 2. World Service?...............Can you still pick that up on a radio? 3. No-one in England will hear it, cos it clashes with Coronation Street. 4. The barman hates us even more than he did. 5. Only Alan has her phone number.( jammy git..... ) So all in all, a very successful interview.................................... Ha ha she withholds her number when ringing Chris  I don't want too hear me mumbling away for more than a minute  but yes its a pity unless it has led to a bigger programme in the near future + you might get to bite her again at Vapefest and she's coming too the next meet....................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................ok that's a lie just trying to get more numbers |

Or you can catch up here link Sadly, it’s so short that only Alan gets airtime. Also, all your wonderful explanations of vaping and flavours has been held back from this piece. The good news however, is that it looks likely that a longer documentary on e-cigarettes will also be commissioned. As soon as I’ve wrapped up some other things I’m working on then I’ll be back to the world of e-cigs. Must admit I got to try out BAzz's real DID's at the meet.he has the mini and full size ones,those things are awesome little cloud makers and beautifully made,I am off to buy one soon,just cant make up my mind which one atm

I have the Altoids one MarkS . The black and white JD was a one off that kirrie beat me too Alan has converted his one into a JD tin now himself...he knows where the coolness is at. hehe I have a shit happens tin in the making must admit I am lost without my tin all the other mods just seem to sit redundant |
