Ok as the 5th April wasn't available I have booked the Saturday before,however if people are not happy as its earlier than usual and mothers day the following day I can try changing to the 12th,this will be date I cannot attend though.

The impression I got from Habeeb was that it would be an evening once the shop was closed around 6pm,it could be a week day or Saturday

This thread is all well and good, but am I missing something, I can't see any dates. I do night shifts and do quite a lot of weekends. I would like to attend one of these one day...from s/e Kent myself but don't feel I can add anything to a view on a London venue as I don't know the areas or whether I am going to be shifted on whatever date is fixed Date added to OP ,always like to give it a few days before I set it in stone. |

Ha ha its a big pair of shoulders,they have too be,I put my south east car meets to one side,brought in a couple of new people too the team who had showed huge enthusiasm to work with the admin I was leaving on her own,so I could take a years break from things and put my time into the vaping meets and the political fight surrounding us,two months down the line the two new admin left,everyone was squabbling and I had to come back too it,long story short,two new admin restored one now gone,wasn't easy but that is the biggest monthly MG-Rover meet in the country and talked about throughout that scene (not a boast) it meant there was no way I could let three years hard work be ruined because I wanted a break.
Back too the vaping meets,we have all had a hard ride,with the climate we live in surrounding vaping and I appreciate every last member and their opinions (there not arguments) I dearly want to pay back a debt of gratitude to UKecig-store,I know how excited they are now the stores finished,I will try to make the best decisions to keep the meets going in the right direction,I still think there is a better home for us,but we do at least have a rest bite with a choice of two pubs that accept us.
I'm sure I can arrange a date/meet for our sponsor,I just want to make the right decision,so all opinions and input is welcome,Cheers All

I too had the conversation about going to UKecig-store with the boys,I viewed it differently as a separate meet that could be done in-between meets,especially as we are 6 weeks apart and could fit it in the middle,in my view which of course would favour something closer to me,I also think it is the wrong side of town for many members and it interrupts the flow of the normal meet,however I believe we can do a separate meet that would be popular with a large element of the normal crowd and may help to attract others,side-swiping the main meet while we are on a bit of a roll would be a backward move,but adding to it would be a forward one,of course that's just my take on it,all opinions are welcome.
