Ah yea that makes sense, they do have an authentic sticker thing on it so i guess they must hav problems with knock offs sometimes. I suppose having one in a lipo safe bag is at least quite safe dunno if id get an ammo box for it, found some on ebay for £10 but they might look a bit dodgy lol also found this cool lookin lipo box www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewitem.asp?idproduct=24647I think its good to leave the batts to sit a few hours after a charge too Also seems the cheap lipo safe bags from china on ebay around £1-£2 might b fake one, saw a vid of one not being fireproof, and the material looked quite thin too.

yea the ithaka sounds interesting, I wonder if hes gonna do many batches of it or not, at least a chance now to own a real gg item hhe
The terminator/nautilus does sounds really good, i think i saw a video of it somewhere and they were showing alot of the parts fitting the real ody, also on ecf there were alot saying the build quality was great even tho imeo was saying it wasnt close to his one and loads agreeing hehe. I think the fact it fits the real ody parts says quite a bit about the quality. Thing is if these were made in a similar proces to imeo uses and the ones on alibab r like a big production line, will they be the same quality? The aga-t I assume is being done in quite big scale and that sounds good, just gonna hav to get both to compare hehe

Seems the trustfire ones are better than some though, kinda figure the fact its sold everywhere it would be quite safe to use the nitecore ones say they have some processor to check everything and a better indicator too, could buy a vamo for the price of one tho heh

true, I think xtars, nitecore and pila ones all do but some of the cheaper ones might not stop completely. was readin about the trustfire one here ukvapers.org/Thread-Exploding-Battery?pid=173328#pid173328That ammo box sounds like a good idea, seems theyre all vintage ones for army surplus stores hehe just found a vid of someone using a cash box to contain flames etc with an rc battery - seems to work well:

I think it just contains a fire if there is one and vents the smoke/gases out, if its explosive gas I guess that is a bit of an issue though.

This is what they do:
they tested a battery pack being overcharged in a pack and without a pack, quite a difference!

hehe, yea im thinking the rubbers constricting the wick and causing the coil to get a bit dry, sometimes u can even cut the rubber bit a bit, but if its too much of a cut, it can make the wick flood instead. Might b worth just lifting the rubber for now and when fastening the mouthpiece, not pushing to rubber down too far, tho u still would need to make it seal up top.

yea thats the one, the sides above the wick do have a slit so u can see towards the coils, maybe the rubber part is pushed down onto the wick too much, could b a possiblity to unscrew the mouthpiece and try and lift the rubber bit a tiny bit higher. Also can b good to tilt it and make sure most of the wick on either side is covered with eliquid, like for a few seconds

yea, usually they glow when the coil is dry, but looks like thres enough liquid, ive never been able to see it glow quite like that tho, i guess the cup the coil sits in is quite exposed on the side. Seems if the flavour etc r fine then theres nothing else to do heh, also as long as the inside of the rubber isnt getting burned a bit, like melting

im not sure that would do it, maybe its a bit of coil thats not near the wick so its staying dry whilst the rest of the coil is working, I've had that happen, usually it can cause some change to the flavour making it more harsh or burnt tasting. Is that a ce5 rebuildable head version?
