Great info Blakey. I don't use VV mods anymore, so won't encounter any issues on that front. I thought the positive post could maybe have been a little shorter, but that 510 base it quite deep. He has really tried to incorporate as much as he could into it, which appear to work pretty well together.
I'm sure once the Americans get theirs there will be loads of people mentioning things like that which Imeo will come up with a solution for. Maybe he already has extras like that in mind to pull in extra cash. He is in it for the long haul, so it wouldn't surprise me if there will be GGTS tailored parts, as this has to be the universal product.

I used the ready wires from e-smoke guru. I believe they are 1.5ohms. My resistance is 0.8ohms, so it sounds about right. I'll probably raise them to 2 ohms or something on the next recoil because on a fresh battery I only need to take 1-2 second draws on it

Migration from the Pre-Order thread. Share your tips, tricks and general queries here. My only tip for now is go for dual coils straight off. No point messing about with single coils

Yep I'm here...lol...and still on ukv.....it's more the fact that vapers tend to be nice people so it doesn't where your from we all share something in common....I went to the vapepit meet last week and they also where a nice bunch....so don't judge a person by the forum they originate or participate...in my case forums..we all have to start somewhere and for me it was Scott bonners forum...when I first look at aaec I was put of partly by the look...I came back after meeting some aaec members at a ukv meet... not long after the meet the look of the forum changed and its a lot more pleasing to the eye....it's a great way to gain interest from others to this forum....but I'm sure your still a nice chap too Yep Phil, it's always good to meet other vapers, especially when you've seen them on vapefest vids . It's also good to see what gear people are using and have a go too. I'm going to see if I can make it to this one. I had an eye on the other one but I was on call that night so couldn't come.

Don't mess about with a single coil. I just put 2 1.5ohm coils in there, and it's pretty crazy. Quite intense and loads of flavour. First time I've tried dual coils in any atty, and I'm pretty blown away. My rating on it has gone up now

Blakey, I think like most people would expect, it is an improved Ody. The extra juice slots to feed the wick seem to help with the juice I vape which is a little thicker than most. If you vape an Ody daily, I would think there might not be a great deal of difference. I didn't really like the Ody, but love the Penelope. It seems to perform better than penny. The wick and coil have "bedded in" now and it's vaping really well. Been through a tanks worth, so it's doing the job well I should think a dual coil will make more of a diiference. Not got round to trying it yet though. First impressions are good. I'm waiting to see what other set ups people try before messing with it, as it's doing the job well right now.

Got mine through today (Saturday). I prefer it to the Kayfun to be honest. Found the Kayfun to be quite a warm vape. I like this. It's a nice, solid vape as you'd expect from Imeo. Prefer it to the Ody. Got it set up with 2 strands of 3mm wick and a single 1.6ohm coil. Going to mess about with it more when I get the chance. But right now, it's vaping really well and I'm enjoying it Here it is on a Chi_You and it's natural home, the Stealth.

Foggatti Hybrid Foggatti hybrid Hellfire mini mega, kayfun 3.1 and an Ithaka. I manage to keep prices of vaping gear hidden from the missus. What she doesn't know, won't kill me

newukvaper84, here is the link to the Caravela forum. I suggest you join up, read some threads and keep an eye on it for when Pedro opens the list again. There will be a limited amount of places. The 1st of August has been banded about a bit on there for a possible date. forum.caravelamods.pt/index.php

Just looking out for people. It's up to you what you do with your stuff. I'm not jealous. I have a Caravela, and have had two others which I've sold on for what they are worth i.e. RRP or less.
I'm a spoiler because I think it's wrong to charge more for a second hand item that was paid for it? Ok, I'll be called a spoiler then.

So shall we all just start charging our fellow vapers more than what things are worth then? I have a Hellfire Mega here I want to sell. It's RRP is £91.50, but I think it's worth £250, want to buy it? Wrong attitude smonkey.

Just for comparison, mine which is in production now, is mixed finish brass button and top cap, polished ss locking ring, polished brass serial ring and brushed SS tube. "C" engraved on button, 1 polished brass drip tip. Including 12 euros shipping came to 211 euros. Very expensive, considering a month a go it would have cost me 165 euros

The new RRP on a Caravela is 157 euros. This would be for an all brushed version. It costs extra for polished parts and engravings like a "C" on the button. For a fully polished one, it would cost around 175 euros. Drip tips are 18 euros. Hope this helps you mate smonkey's one would have cost 20% less than the prices I quoted, as he got it before the price increase, the lucky sod
